I only use it during the summer when it's really hot (it's completely turned off from Oct through May). I turned it on this past June & it only blows air, the air does not come out cold like it did previous year. I'm a bit disappointed because technically I've only used it for about 4 mo. out of the year.

It works ok as an air conditioner. One problem is that the WiFi connection does not work. I press the button and no light flashes. It does not pair up. I do not recommend this product and would not purchase another GE window AC unit.

Most acs got Down to 60. It doesn’t cool my room enough. Disappointed with this purchase.

But the app is terrible and barely integrates with other smart home systems. In fact, you have to ask Alexa to ask “Geneva” to control your ac. Also, it’s really loud. Also, it has no vent open/close option. Also, there are no automated blades to help circulate air in your room - you have a slight left/right adjustment and an even slighter upward angle. It gets half a star for doing the cooling and another half star for coming with insulation to cover the accordion sides of the unit. But even then, I had to coerce the installers to even USE the insulation. Buy something else. Like… ANYthing else.
