It works ok as an air conditioner. One problem is that the WiFi connection does not work. I press the button and no light flashes. It does not pair up. I do not recommend this product and would not purchase another GE window AC unit.

Stopped working after 2 months

GE provided me with a "good will rebate" but I have to purchase the same air conditioner and provide my receipt and wait for reimbursement. I prefer to stay away from GE but I'm forced to get another one. Hopefully the second one works

We intentionally purchased a unit LARGER than the space we were cooling and it definitely keeps us cool. One benefit that I like is that the lighted section of the display turns off after a short period of time leaving our bedroom dark at night without unnecessary illumination.

I ended up paying a little more to get this new unit. It Wasn’t as cold as our previous unit and it started having a lot of condensation. It’s one month old I’m gonna try to return it.
