It didn't last a year. I'm not sure exactly what the issue was, but it seemed electronic rather than mechanical. Let's hope the new one lasts longer. It cools our basement very well. The wireless options are nice to have, not necessary. The app does show power usage, which is really nice. If you buy one, be sure to get an extended warranty or

Freezes and super loud

Great AC

It wasn't hot enough in early May to rate this product. But as of today, one of the hottest days recorded for this Spring season my elderly mom is running her new AC unit and loving it. She says the unit is small but powerful. Ready for the dog days of summer.
