Smart App Sucks

Once installed, the smart phone App does not work as it does not turn on and off the AC from your smart phone. The unit itself works good but its being sold as a "Smart AC" in fact it is not. I noted many people having issues with the APP. Customer support was good.

Posted .Hello Uriel - We are very sorry to hear about the problems you have had with your air conditioner. In order to reset the control panel, disconnect power to the unit for about three minutes. If this does not resolve the issue, please take advantage of the warranty found in the owner's manual. Thanks. - JB

Horrible, died after 14 months of use

I did the reset and also connected the unit to a different outlet. Nothing. I would expect more from GE. And now out of warranty, I have a 400+ dollar paperweight. No more GE air conditioners for me.

You can’t get this model serviced because they discontinued making parts so you have to submit for a rebate. Still haven’t received the funds from that yet and it’s been 3 months. The second one I bought has now started to turn on and off continuously regardless of the temp you set it at and when it’s off nothing you do will turn it on you have to wait for it to turn itself back on. When they work, it works well it is kinda loud but that’s besides the point cause the product is trash.

Went from a 5000 btu window to this. You would think at 12000 btu’s It would way outperform previous ac unit. Very little difference. A wasted of time and money. Now to pay someone to help me return this monsterous piece of garbage
