I do feel as though it could produce more cool air. Last unit was also 12,000 but, and while this one runs much smoother, the older unit definitely made it cooler.

Set at its lowest 64 degrees my room temp hits 82 with this thing running non stop on high. I do not recommend this a/c very disappointed in GE's quality...
