Poor quality product

Attachments to window frame are very poor quality. Just one type of 1 1/2" screw. These are too long and will damage most wooden sash windows. I used shorter screws from my woodshop. The baffle panels have a self-adhesive backing - not sure how these will be usable next year. The poorest part of this AC is that the cooling compressor motor is noisy. It has an annoying "engine" sound. In fan mode this noise disappears. The unit looks like a copy of a good quality product that was offered by Sears - and this unit is my replacement for the Kenmore 12000 btu because that had developed mold.
