Do Not Buy!

Stupid expensive, poor quality accessories and app

The side curtains are not very long and like to come apart too easily. The app refuses to connect on my iphone to the AC. The GE app also requires you to sign up and provide a metric-ton of personal information and confirm the account before even using it. Pretty upset but for the BTUs I couldn't find a much better "deal"

Makes loud noise at after on for long time

Great replacement for a decade old unit.

A lot has changed in a decade. My favorite thing about this unit is that it’s a smart unit and I can connect it with my Amazon Echo in my house. Works great. Pretty quiet. Love that it’s got an eco feature.

This unit has an expected sound level of 62 to 67 dBAs, which is a bit above the level of moderate rainfall. First unit defective replacement arrived dented.

It is a replacement for the same exact unit which lasted 3 months of operation. GE said they would replace it at no charge, but I have not received my money yet. Best Buy had to be paid upfront. The replacement arrived DENTED because Best Buy did not wrap the outside of the shipping box designed for retail pickup.

Dead out of the box...

The plug is reset with a green light and the unit is completely unresponsive with the buttons and the remote. I now have to uninstall it to drag it back to a Best Buy that is only open till 6pm. Thanks GE!!!

Unit works wonderfully for the room it is in. Very quiet and so far so good. We couldnt be happier and would highly recommend this to those seeking out a great system.
