Cools the area good

I have never installed one before and it went smooth. The unit does cool the area good. Only problem is that it trips the breaker occasionally when in Eco mode and it tries to turn on.

Very pleased with how fast it was to cool off our frontroom and kitchen. This unit works very well covering 336 sq.ft. couldn't be happier love the different modes and it's wifi capability. I would highly recommend this ac unit and the price is reasonable. Very easy to install. Comes with remote and mounting hardware also. Thanks Best Buy

Great for living room

Recommend using the big bracket for air conditioners not the small one. Just wish the price was lower and that it wouldn't go on eco mode on its own. GE air conditioner is recommended if you want to keep cool this summer.

Can connect to your smartphone so that you can turn on from anywhere and get your home cool before your arrival. Would definitely be buying again for my upstairs.

I have a 800 sq feet living room in my condo and this really cools my place with no issue! Only downside is the sound of the motor i guess its a little noisy but is very tolerable. Wont disturb you with work or anything. But over all its a good buy! Compared to my fridgidaire before this GE a/c really does a great job!

We have it in our bedroom which is around 350 square foot and it keeps it ice cold. Not too loud and doesn't work too hard. Plus the cell phone app is awesome if I want to set it to 65 deg when I'm on my way home from work, or even from just across the house. I highly recommend.

Cools very well and is fairly quiet.we love the wireless control so we can adjust the temperature when we are gone to come home to a cool home

Wouldn't fit...so instead I puchased the 12000 btu. I was afraid it would not cool the large space enough but was surprised. It has been more than adequate...nice and cool on these hot days. My apartment is 980 square feet....Ilthe unit is cooling about 800 square feet...open floor plan

I love the fact that i can turn on while i am work so my dog can stay cool. Definitely would recommend.

GE 12,000BTU AC

It says to make the sill support 1/2" higher, but that wasn't high enough. Water buildup inside wouldn't allow it to work properly after a heavy rain. The performance was surprising. It's smaller than it should be for the size of the rooms. It cooled quickly and did well maintaining the dry, cool air. I am pleased with my purchase.
