    3 weeks after receiving it and getting it installed the display started blinking and it would turn off after turning it on.

    I received what appeared to be a refurbished item. I paid full price for my order. Not only did it come refurbished, but it also did not work. Instead of blowing cold air. It was blowing hot air. When I returned it to the store there were no alternative items that I could replace it for. Very disappointed with my purchase.

    Worked okay for about 3 months then it stopped responding to button presses on the front panel and does not respond to the remote. In "auto" it rarely paid attention to the temperature in the room and generally turned on and off when it felt like it. A thermometer in the middle of the room read 75F when the unit was set to 70 and it never turned on. It also wouldn't turn off until the temp was manually set to something ridiculously high or you hit the power button.

    AC STOPPED WORKING IN LESS THAN A MONTH!

    My AC stopped working; it beeps constantly and turns off every time I turn it on. I have over 4 days of contacting Best Buy and GE, and nobody seems to help. They keep telling me to contact another number. No replacement and no money back. I purchased this July 23rd, 2021, not even a month ago, with a 2- year warranty. So disappointed makes me not want to purchase anything from them again!!!

    Love this AC unit. You can do a lot of cool things though the app. You can turn it on when you are on your way home though your phone. So by the time you get home the house has cool off. Love it.

    I was very excited about this one put when we installed it was blowing hot air and the smell was awful. We thought it might need it some time but No it blow hot air very disappointed

    I've only had the unit for 3 days. The set-up of the Wi-Fi was impossible. I never got it working. The 2nd day I tried again and the WiFi light would not come on. I called GE service and the person I spoke with was really nice, but he didn't really know more about the set-up than I did (after reading the manual). He finally told me I should take it back to Best Buy for an exchange. I guess I will do that, but the hassle of removing it from my window, returning to Best Buy (which is not close) and then coming back to reinstall ... I am not looking forward to that process. I am also disappointed in the remote control. I have two other portable air units and those remotes have the same controls as the units themselves. As for how the air condition works, I will find out this weekend when temps will be in the high 90's.

    Very quiet AC for our Living Room. We debated about window or stand alone. I do believe we made the right decision on window. Remote and Smart App was an added plus!
