    DO NOT BUY!!!! I would give this AC a 0 star rating if it was possible. I am now on my 3rd GE 12,000 BTU A/C. I bought my first one last year (previous model), it died after a few months. (Same issue as stated by other people, the front just beeps and does nothing). GE issued me a Goodwill credit and I had to buy this version this year. ($50 more). Now this NEW AC has broken after less than 2 months of use. 5/26/22-7/16/22. GE refuses to give you your money back, instead you are forced to do another goodwill credit and buy another GE product. So here I am buying this AC for the 3rd time. GE customer service was incredibly rude and unprofessional and hung up after I finally gave up trying to get my money back and told them I would take the goodwill credit. AVOID GE AT ALL COSTS

    I bought 2. One lasted 9 months andvthe other lasted 22 months. Keep in mind 7 months in each it was not on due to winter Customer support on 2nd one offered me $75. Lol. STAY AWAY FROM GE

    Wrong top mounting bracket

    The top mounting bracket has 3 evenly spaced holes followed by a fourth one randomly placed. The top of the ac requires four evenly spaced holes, even after going through customer service, they sent the incorrect piece.

    Terrible unit purchased in 5/23/22 used it two months. Next year no cool air coming out it has ice build up they tell you to turn on and off the machone to remove ice build up.

    We bought two of them, none of them work as advertised, each room is about 260 sq feet, both rooms face North side of the building, basically theres no direct sunlight to the rooms , AC can not go cool the room, lowest it can go is 74. When switching between speeds of medium and high, nothing changes.Waste of money.

    I will not recommend this unit does not stay on cool. I would be cooler just running a room fan Not worth the money and for some unknown reason a red light continued to blink in the inside panel very distracting when you are trying to sleep but can’t cause your hot and a light is flashing

    Garbage air conditioner. I'm literally sitting in front of the ac on the sofa and I'm barely getting cooled. If l could give this a zero star, l would.

    Purchased similar GE AHS12 unit for $500. After a few months it sounded like a jet plane taking off. Could only use when not in the house. GE/Haier (Haier bout the GE brand) did not support. Then the unit just stopped blowing any air. Fan died. Look to other brands.
