It is a quaintly window unit. Good: Cools a small to mid size room down fast Bad: the display turns off immediately, so you can't tell the temp settings.

I purchased this for my son who lives on a second floor 2 bedroom apartment. This unit cools down his entire apartment. He loves the WiFi feature because he can turn it on before he leaves work and by the time he gets home, the house is nice and cool.

This unit works great.. easy install, the only problem is that it’s real heavy. You need two people to install.. overall works great.

It cools a large space but it is too LOUD. The remote is convenient but the display on the AC is hard to read.

Great unit cools my entire downstairs very well even with vaulted ceilings. Was very easy to install well worth the money. My ac went out hottest day of the year 100 in Raleigh Nc so it’s sticky hot I bought this unit put it in and it saved my life lol

Great air conditioner the remote control is also very convenient and the app makes its so that if I forgot the control it’s okay I could turn it on from my phone

I am currently being bathed in the warm wind provided by the second unit that failed within only a couple months of use. Long story short, GE's rebate program is as time-consuming and frustrating as possible, beginning with the fact that the phone number listed in the manual prompted me to "Call back during business hours" no matter what time of day I called it. Eventually I had to try other phone numbers I found online (at least three of them). The rebate tracker they gave me never verified that they were even aware of my request and it did not ever update. I did eventually receive a rebate, but long after I had given up dealing with support. The rebate program forces you to buy the same unit instead of one that doesn't have issues (to be fair, I would be shocked if GE actually makes one that doesn't break within a year). They don't cover the sales tax, which is about $40 in my state, multiplied by two since I had to purchase it twice. This is a policy that I'm sure is an industry standard, but that doesn't make it suck any less. The unit is installed six feet from my computer and I literally cannot hear people in my headset when it's running. Oftentimes ice will form if it isn't constantly running on high. GE Answers may try to suggest I installed it wrong or didn't clean it, but they would be mistaken. This is simply a terrible product. No wonder my mother laughed at me when I told her I bought a GE product. I bought Geek Squad protection this time so I never have to deal with GE support ever again. I'm hoping they give me a different unit, preferably a different brand altogether.

This unit functions as an AC very well. It's not too loud and cools down our apartment very quickly. The smart features are just okay. It does have HomeKit compatibility however it doesn't let you control everything from the iOS Home app. You can only turn it on and off and adjust temperature. You have to use the GE app to control speed and mode. The WiFi setup is slow and the GE app is pretty terrible.

Overall I am very satisfied with this AC unit. I like being able to have a schedule set for running the unit. Also, being able to us an app for setup. Keeps my room cool with little effort, about 300 square feet and not the best insulation. My electric usage has gone down.

Great Air Conditioner. Love the Wi-Fi Feature gets very cold living room and kitchen

I bought this unit back in August and literally used it up to this week. For the most part I don't have any complaints except for randomly disconnecting itself from Wi-Fi. It is super convenient to be able to control the air conditioner from your smartphone. I will be buying the 15,000 BTU version soon.

Love GE ac unit with wifi. Its easy to setup and control from anywhere. Nice to have an eco mode for the those nights when it’s not needed to have the ac on.

This air conditioner was able to quickly cool the lower level of my home. It is rated for 550 square feet but with a stand alone fan I have I was able to circulate air and the air conditioner was able to keep a 1200 square foot area at 68 degrees even on the hottest days. The only complaint I have is that every time you turn it on you have to pick the settings you want. It does not save the last settings you used.

I needed a air condicioner weather was hot mi old one was not warking so I went to BestBuy it was in the pandemic I got to the line quept mi distand from other a clerk too care of me I knew what I needed I toll her and we went inside a got a unit with the write spesks ease to put it up in the window and it work ok is a great unit ease to useTHANK BEST BUY

Cools the 700sq ft section of house really well. Throws air well and the wifi control is great for anytime control / scheduling cooling.

Perfectly fast cooling unit with energy efficient technology, i like it and it have really excellent power to cool down whole apartment

This ac is the best my house is freezing cold even with guests and my living room is pretty big and connected to the kitchen. The best part is setting up the schedule to turn on before I get home on those super hot days

this unit cools unbelievably, and pulls the moisture out of the house nicely. It is cooling about 500 square feet. Very pleased with how the unit works and installed. The only downside is the u it is louder than I thought it would be when the compressor runs.

App is really easy to use and connected it to our Alexa with ease. Provides moderate cooling for a large master bedroom.
