I can't believe how easily this popped in and how well it works! It isn't off-gassing noxious chemicals, either. ( I even got over it being delivered a day late.) I just plugged it in awhile ago. Hopefully, it will continue to do well. It could have included a strip of foam, however.

Works ok but should have bought a window unit. The 12000 btu window unit in the other room seems better. 1500 more btu for a portable not worth it. Otherwise works great

Makes an annoyingly loud high/medium pitch whirring sound when the compressor kicks in that is very annoying. It's definitely in the vocal frequency range so it's more noticeable than the usual and perfectly normal low frequency rumble of AC units (which, to my ears is a quite relaxing and pleasant white noise sound, no matter how loud it is). I'd be able to get used to the high pitch whirring sound if at least the whole unit (the entire refrigeration unit AND fans) would not turn off by itself every 10 min or so when the thermostat is set at the lowest temp (64 °F). The sound of the whole unit going from ON to completely OFF and then ON again (with that jarring, haunting whirring noise) in the span of 10 min or so wakes me up SEVERAL times in the middle of the night (even after wearing white noise producing Bose SleepBuds II). This constant power cycling is indicative of what is called short cycling, which might be due to internal overheating and bad airflow through system. This will QUICKLY shorten lifespan of the unit. It has gotten so annoying that I was left with no other choice than returning the unit, even though it does cool quickly and external construction quality seems ok (on par with the price and competition)

Works great in medium sized rooms. Got this for my living room and loved it so much I picked up a second one for my bedroom and it keeps cool all night long. My only issue is that It's a little on the loud side, but not much louder than your standard box fan, not enough to keep you up at night.

For large areas like living rooms its okay but not great, havent tested out in bedrooms but id assume itll be more than what the average induvidual needs.

This unit is being used for a bonus space over the garage. It does the job very well. It is a little noisy, but I don't live or watch TV in the bonus room.

it cools down my garage in this summer heat. its not too loud. I wish it had blue tooth so I can control it from my phone. otherwise great product.

Keeps the room cold and easy to install and maintain

Cools our high ceiling 12 x 15' room pretty quickly. A little noisy but that's to be expected with a portable unit. Wish it had an automatic fan speed setting, like our old unit, right now the fan seems to shut off when it reaches temperature.

The hose isn’t very long and doesn’t stay attached very well. And doesn’t do super great in the high 90s

It’s a bit tricky at first it would turn off and on and then stopped . The Fans are accurate but still does not cool down enough. I live in a one bedroom. I rather have to place it in bedroom or living room.

I purchased this while looking around trying to find the best mobile AC and thankfully it’s been working great so far! Not sure as to how long it’ll last but as of now it’s been working amazing. Air comes out ice cold and it kicks in quickly

So glad I took the time to shop, and I found exactly what I was looking for at BEST BUY. It was easy to install, touch surface to use, nice and cool and it covers a good square footages; works well for my living room.
