I love how easily the top comes clean. The aesthetics alone sold me. The convection oven is a dream and the smaller top oven is extremely convenient and heats up quickly. I highly recommend!

This is not heating properly. Need lot of cooking time.

We have had this range for 19 months and have used it minimally since we bought it. I was boiling water on the power burner and the burner popped with an orange flash and no longer works. I called GE customer service and it is $100 just to get them to come look at it. It's at least another$130 for the part, plus the $100 or so labor cost to actually fix it. So if you want to put 1/3 to 1/4 of the cost back into it after less than 2 years, go ahead and buy it. Otherwise, get something better quality, especially for the price.

I truly hate this stove-top. It is impossible to keep clean and difficult to cook on. You have to be VERY careful or you food will scorch. But the part I hate most is that I have to clean the stove-top 3 to 5 times a day- before and after each time I cook on it and at least one more time just because it looks filthy. EVERYTHING burns onto the stove-top. Even boiling water that splashes over will leave a mark! And the stove-top stays so hot for so long after cooking that by the time it's cool enough to clean whatever dripped on it while cooking gets baked on and hardens as it cools. The "cleaner" that comes with it is a joke. The only thing I have found that gets off any of the baked on mess is using a razor to chisel away the baked on grime and there is still lots of discoloration. I hate this cooking serface more than can be expressed. Oh yeah, and the clock stopped working within a week of installation & now it blinks all the time. You have been warned.
