I put them in and turned the first one on and it made an extremely loud humming noise I left it running for awhile and the noise never stopped it sounded like a diesel engine the second one was much quieter but it kept misreading the temperature and only stayed running for a few minutes before cutting the compressor off it would read 68 even though it was 76 in the room we were trying to cool. I ended taking these back and getting two other GE from Lowe’s that have worked out great so far. I would not recommend these I would expect a problem with one as a defect but not both

As a senior, I didn't realize how bad it was and began to have trouble thinking and moving about. My son came to check on me and installed this wonderful unit. Now I am cool and happy. God is good, and sons are blessings. Amen
