Cools very good and fairly quit I highly recommend this product

It's a good air conditioner, but these new air conditioners don't seem to cool off a room as well as the older models did. Maybe it's because they are all energy efficient? It works, but I wish it cooled cooler.

I purchased a this GE 14000 BTU air conditioner here at Best Buy. I purchased it in 2020 and have only used it soine July of 2020, so 2 1/2 summer seasons. I went to turn it on this summer and an error code came up of 88 and it is constantly blinking, beeping and will not turn on now matter what I do. Through researching this issue, I found out that there is a problem with GE Air Conditioner's switch board. Corrosion from condenstation builds up and messes it up rendering the air conditioner helpless-you can not turn it on. You would have to by-pass it and take out the board, arid wire it so that when you plug it in, it turns on! We paid over $500.00 for this air conditioner and neither Best Buy or GE wants to replace it because it is out of the 1 year warranty, which is not okay with us. We want our money back or an exchange for an air conditioner that will work for years to come, not 2 1/2 seasons then break down. DO NOT BUY this brand and air conditioner. GE knows about it and they are hiding the fact that they do! We are really upset. I would appreciate compensation. Money is tight, especially right now for everyone. We cannot afford to buy air conditioners every 3 years at $500.00 a pop because they break dow,n. NOT ACCEPTABLE. I do expect to hear back from someone regarding fixing this issue for us.

My Air Conditioner finally gave up. First year was wonderful. Second year started to make noises. This 3 year noise was louder and constantly kept shutting down the power box. Now it won't last longer than 5 mins before it shuts the power box. Very disappointed.

Great little A/C unit. Keeps my insulated 3 car garage very comfortable even on the hottest days. My 3rd bay is my workout facility so it had to work. The GE phone app is also great, to programe the unit for coolness & timming, plus it has other options. Better living through technology.

Does not feel as cold as the 12000 btu unit we got last year. The unit from last year only lasted 3 mos. of use before freezing up on me. Got a new one under warranty just within the 1 yr warranty. Not happy with the brand and would not buy another GE again.

Unit worked well. Best Buy delivery worked very well and was very efficient.

I spent over 500 bucks and it worked for 2 months. Ge has no parts for some reason and I have been stuck in hell trying to get the warranty honored. I started the process in June. It's almost the end of August and I'm still wait for a voucher. So I have to drop another 500 + bucks and then wait for a refund check. Completely ridiculous and will NEVER buy GE again. How does this thing crap out after 2 months and you have no parts. The punchline to all this is they told me to throw out a relatively new unit. Just absurd..Stay away!!
