AC stops working less than a year

The unit reads a code of 88, and all the lights are on while beeping. GE will make you jump through hoops before they will reimburse you for the value of the AC… to get your money back you must purchase another GE brand AC and then wait 6-8 weeks for reimbursement.

Stopped working
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I used it for one summer and put it away. When the next summer came around I installed it and didnt turn on. I called customer service and my warranty was up so yeah basically $500+ for 2 months of usage had to theow it out.
