I’ve found myself cooking more than ever this past year due to quarantine, and I’ve been looking to upgrade my cooking appliances. I wanted a small mixer that was appropriate for my small apartment kitchen and I was drawn to the GE Immersion Blender due to it’s multipurpose nature. The handheld blender is several tools compactly designed into one. The little tool packs quite the punch, it has a “high” and “low” and I’ve found using “low” is more than enough for most of what I need. The GE Immersion blender has been a super useful addition to my cooking routine and I’ve used it to prepare a variety of meals from breakfast to dessert. One of my favorite things to do is mix cocktails, the whisk attachment is perfect for it. I used to hate to go through all the trouble of pulling out, using, and cleaning my full size blender to make a mixed drink, but now it’s so fast and easy with the removable attachments. Overall, it works extremely well, it’s powerful and does the job without taking up a ton of space when it’s stored. It checks all the boxes for me and I’m very happy with the new addition to the kitchen. I love the sleek look of the stainless steel. It matches the rest of my appliances and would fit in nicely to most people’s kitchens. • Multiple tools, all in one. Saves space in my small kitchen where drawer space is limited. • I like the two different speeds settings, High and Low. It’s very powerful. • Much quieter compared to my blender I normally use • Perfect for small cooking tasks when you don’t want to take out the whole blender - salsas, sauce, mixed drinks, omelets, etc. I find that I blend things much more often now because of this! Cons: • There is an attached cord, so your mobility is limited. I have a small kitchen so this doesn’t particularly bother me, but if you are looking for something mobile, do consider this.

Bought due to my arthritis and carpel tunnel but did not help. The way you have to hold and keep pressing the button caused my hand to hurt. And it’s heavy for me to deal with and the pain. Sadly not something for me. Over all it worked great for purées.

Excellent product, great product for affordable prices

This is a useful and versatile tool that is solidly built, has more than enough power, and works well for just about any task it is designed for. It looks good, in gray and stainless, is designed well, and comes with 3 useful attachments…blending/chopping, whisk, and chopping jar. They attach and un-attach without issue and are easy to clean. The base is much of the same. It fits in the hand well, is a good length, is not too heavy, and cleanup is also simple. While I would have loved a cordless option, I think the trade-off for additional power is more than worth it, and the cord itself is a good length and should not be an issue for most. I have found it is a pleasure to use given just how versatile this immersion blender is. I work in a kitchen, so I am familiar with this tool (although ours is a more industrial unit), but operation is straight-forward and simple. While at first, I questioned the choice of 2-speeds, as opposed to variable (as I was accustomed to), I found this was a total non-issue, although some labeling would have been appreciated. I have been using this for egg whites, humus, pesto, nuts, so many things, including some baked potato soup for this snowy weekend. I really like the light weight; how compact it is and that it is designed for use with one hand. It is perfect for home-use. All in all, I really like this tool. It truly is multi-use and extremely versatile. That, combined with that fact it is compact, is a major win in my space-constrained kitchen. It looks pretty nice, is well-built and seems it will last, is powerful, and can be used for just about everything. The value is definitely there.

I purchased about one & half years ago. But I used handful times.But it stopped working after few month of using. I think there was connection problem. low speed button died after 6 month and hi speed button died about 2 month later. But I kept it and hoped it worked again later but it didn't work so I threw away. I could not believe I paid for about one hundred dollars for junk blender. I valued GE too high, I'd had inexpensive braun hand held blender for about 20 years, and finally it died. So I decided to get GE brand. It was my mistake. I notice it's price is now $49.99. But save 5- bucks. I don't recommand this.
