Everything and nothing works, with each use. I was reluctant to return, thinking we are not using it properly. Am thinking about returning, am convinced, t's not the end user.

Our dog was running away every time the micro was working. It is not suitable for dogs. Panel information, not easy to see clear for older people.

A few days ago I noticed that when you pressed the door release button the door would take one second to open. It didn’t open right away. If you closed and opened a second time it would open right away. If you waited ten minutes or so and pushed the release button again the door would again take a second to pop open . It wouldn’t open right away again. The release button sticks for some reason and it feels like it won’t open when the button is pressed.

When pressing in areas off center and further from center, the door latch is more difficult to operate. This is normal operation for the microwave. If this isn't the issue you are having, please take advantage of your warranty and reach out to GE Consumer Service. This is 3rd one in 14 years I guess they are only suppose to last 5 to 7 years. It is only one for built in cabinet and is only 800 watts. Also I am returning this for 4th time, 2 we’re delivered smashed up, 3rd the door was all loose and was hard to open and shut and the 4th the heating system is very noisy and it heats up more than normal so I am returning this and trying for a 5th but even if it works it is only 800 watts which is less than $100.00 microwaves.

After spending 4.5 hours on the phone to return this unit, they sent it back to my apartment, now spending hours more to try and solve the problem. Never Again!
