Has much more functionality than we are use too. The exhaust duct comes from the top into the cabinet and out the wall. So it takes some space out of the top cabinets.

Purchased for the convection feature but was hesitant because of the dial. The convection was not worth it. Takes longer than the oven to use and when you open the door to turn something over the temperature drops 100 degrees and it has to reheat. Selecting time and levels with the dial is a pain. Our old GE had a number pad and I will never buy another without a number pad. If I hadn't thrown the packaging away before I used the convection I would have returned it.

When cooking with convection, it is not often needed to turn food over while heating. Convection rotates the air around the food for an even cook and eliminating the need to flip items and interrupt cooking cycles. Just be sure to use the rack when convection cooking or fast baking. Not worth the price..

Second unit was fine for the first 3-4 weeks and now it will not let me adjust the power level. I receive a message saying “power level cannot be adjusted at this time”. For the price of this product I would not expect multiple issues with multiple units.. I’ve loved my other GE products but this was a very disappointing experience….

It's a nice upgrade. Convection oven heats up quickly and cooks evenly and the microwave works well. We can take frozen chicken breast from the freezer and thaw in moments and it's ready to cook.
