The door is freaking loud to open and shut. We replaced an W brand and the door was smooth and quiet, but cooking took a hit.

When the surface light is on, even if it's on low, it causes the microwave oven to overheat. The glass, covering the light, which is not LED, became so hot, it burned my hand. Not a great design.

I have to increase the heating time. Sometimes its ok other times not so ok. Maybe because it has more sensors.

I love the look of it and it works great. The only thing to consider versus traditional styles is that the door has a longer swing radius since it extends over the full length of the microwave.

However, GE service took care of it without issue, though it took 2 weeks to get me the part and obviously had to manually rotate food in the meantime. This is otherwise a really good performing and looking microwave.

Just press the number 5 for instance and it automatically starts cooking for 5 minutes. No need to press desired amount of time and then start.
