We bought this as replacement of GE microwave which came as combo with oven. That microwave survived 6 years. Within 10 months, this microwave ceramic coating formed bubbles and started to peel off from the roof. Reported the problem to GE and the advised to stop using it and will send technician to check and decide what can be done. Now a long loop of back and forth with consumer department will start. I do not recommend this microwave. Even if GE may decide to take an action, I will not get 100% of money back or replacement so wastage of time and money.

This was my second microwave the first came in dented on the top. The one con is the door closes hard and it sounds like you're slamming it close when you a not. Overall, my family and I enjoy the microwave. It works for our needs.

This GE microwave was a replacement for one I previously had. I was able to get it from Best Buy at an exceptional value. It has all the features of the previous one I owned with upgrades.

Loud noise when closing door. Also, cannot see buttons…needs backlighting.

Fit perfect, would recommend buying the the trim that goes with this microwave.

This is my second one both have the same issue, the door stops opening.

The microwave oven is not used, end up installing double wall ovens.

DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE !!!!!! I only bought the GE since it fit my existing cutout to replace an old GE microwave. After only 6 months the door latch is broken JUST LIKE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE MENTIONED IN THEIR REVIEWS.. Consider yourself warned. I will never buy another GE appliance again.

Very nice unit. Buttons are a little hard to read for older folks without their glasses but overall a nice unit.

This is about the only brand and model that (with the optional trim kit) will fit in the built-in cabinet space that held my prior GE profile microwave. I'm returning it anyway! I don't want to modify the cabinet, but my wife and I loathe this model. The control panel buttons are cramped and seem to have no dead space between them, so it's hard to hit the button you want. On a lesser note, the gray interior isn't well lit and is very dim compared to most microwaves.

I purchased this microwave oven and I have been nothing but pleased with this purchase. The oven is very easy to operate. I removed my old microwave and installed the new one in about 15 minutes.

This is a very powerful and roomy microwave, the only issue is that reheat tends to overheat the foods. We have to watch it carefully.

Love the microwave, replaced a 17 yr old one, same GE Profile. Do wish however that it came with a instruction manual as it has a few different features that I don't have a clue how to operate!

Very pleased with the construction and appearance of our new microwave. Looked up reviews and they were right on the money concerning the value of this product.

The push button on the door broke less than 2 month after purchase. The over all unit is very "tinie" sounding and cheap, even though it wasn't cheap. I have always had GE Profile appliances and have never been disappointed until now ---and I am extremely disappointed in the quality of this......especially being a profile! I would not recommend this product.

The critical factor was that this microwave fit the previous opening for an LG microwave because this unit does not come with a trim package. It fit as advertised.

Have had this microwave for 1.5 years. Intermittently, it trips the breakers after you close the door and turn it on, about every few weeks. This has been happening for approx 12 months. Since we bought the trim kit, we are deciding weather to buy a new one or have it repaired. Costly either way. We love Best Buy, just this appliance is not the best.
