It is considered normal for some steam/vapor to escape from around the door, but your feedback will be shared with our team. Received mid June but wish they had kept it exact same dimensions since I had to have carpentry work done to have the trim kit fit and reinstalled Very happy with it, much improved door latch, previous Profile was not easy. Great appearance, like the dark interior and like that the keypad requires the slightest touch.

In this time, the magnetron failed three times. On the third failure, we decided to replace the mircrowave with this one. From the beginning, we were leary about the door button failing. The microwave has been installed and in light use for approx 40 days and now on Christmas morning (with a meal to prepare), the door button broke completely. The microwave is completely unusable. I am DISGUSTED that I spend $400 on a brand new microwave, $200 for the trim kit, and now when most needed, I have a completely unuseable microwave again. Sick that I bought a GE. Matching my other appliances is not worth it. I cannot recommend any GE appliance at this point.
