It has been sitting waiting for help to put it in place. Opened it today and there is no User Manual. Disappointing to believe an item is complete and then finding out it's not after the return window is closed.

That microwave survived 6 years. Within 10 months, this microwave ceramic coating formed bubbles and started to peel off from the roof. Reported the problem to GE and the advised to stop using it and will send technician to check and decide what can be done. Now a long loop of back and forth with consumer department will start. I do not recommend this microwave. Even if GE may decide to take an action, I will not get 100% of money back or replacement so wastage of time and money.

At the Mercy of GE Profile for Built in Microwave

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Brought the microwave home from Best Buy and opened the box to find that the glass front was shattered and there were other broken parts. No excuse for that in shipping. Had to return it and reorder a replacement. The second microwave was fine but requires a ridiculously expensive plastic front trim kit that is very hard to install because the measurements have to be precise for the screws to the 1/32 of an inch, and the screws are inserted blindly into slots. For those of us who had prior built in GE microwaves and are not ready to remodel an entire kitchen, we are at the mercy of the GE Profile for replacement if that is what we had before.
