    I have not opened the box of my micro wave yet, I am still waiting for the trim kit to come. I know I am going to like it, wanted the stainless steel, but hope this one is ok.

    From the start, the door always was hard to open. Had to push 4-5 times to open door. Then, after 5 weeks, while food was finished cooking, the door would not open and the tray kept spinning. Had to pull the plug. The door still won't open and the food is in the microwave along with a plate. returning it to Best Buy and they will break door to get my plate and spoiled food. DO NOT BUY THIS MICROWAVE!

    The microwave looked nice but it didn't work. Received the first microwave and it didn't work at all. Received a replacement microwave and it didn't do all of the functions, so returned that for a refund. I had called and asked the company for a manual and was told they no longer have them. I also found out that GE appliance is no longer a US company and that's very disappointing to me.

    Too Soon to Tell So Ignore Mandatory Star Rating

    I have had 2 previous years' models of the same microwave: one died in a little over one year and was covered by the extended warranty through my credit card. The warranty, however, did not cover the new necessary trim kit or installation so the cost was significant to replace it. I replaced it with the next year's model which died in a little over 2 years. So... this is my third GE and I'm hoping it lasts. Why do I get GEs all the time you may ask; because the dimensions of the install space in our cabinetry necessitates it. I've now had this one for about 1 month - so far so good but time will tell. For that reason I am unable to rate it at this time. Our original KitchenAid model lasted 9 years. Unfortunately the newer KitchenAid models' dimensions would require modification of our cabinetry - a non starter. That said Best Buy's install guys were fabulous. Best Buy did not require a new trim kit (unlike the other vendors who required that at significant cost despite the fact that the replacement microwave dimensions are the same .

    Very nice microwave works perfectly If the second one that we bought the first one lasted for about seven years, it was cheaper to get a new one and get the old one fixed

    Purchased this to replace a similar, but discontinued built-in GE microwave that died after 5+ years. Like the darker interior. Even though it is the same size as the one replaced we still had to buy a new trim kit that cost 60% as much as the microwave. Hope this one lasts longer.

    This was the model that came with our new home. They last about two years before they quit heating or they start to trip the breaker. We have had to replace this unit twice in 4 years. Serious headache and absolutely do not recommend unless you have extra time and money to waste. I’ve had $60 microwaves last over 10 years under poor conditions and these can’t last more than two.

    Need more time to properly review oven.

    The jury is still out on this product. It was installed on October 31 out of the box it did not work. New oven arrived on November 22 wrong work crew sent out. New oven arrived on December 3. So far everything is working out well.

    Our previous microwave did not live up to expectations,however we are very happy with this new one. It is more powerful and is much easier to operate. We would buy it again given the option.

    We purchased this microwave to replace the older model which is no longer being manufactured. If you do the same, you should know you also must purchase the coordinating trim kit; it is not compatible with the older model. Once we purchased the trim kit (JX7230SLSS), it was a perfect fit. They look great together and were an excellent replacement. The inside of this microwave is dark grey. It's a nice, upscale look that compliments the other GE appliances we have in the matching set. The microwave works well and is very easy to use. The buttons require very little pressure; it is quite sensitive. We're happy with the product and would purchase again.

    Basically the only microwave I could find that would work as a replacement for my cabinet. It's a great microwave. I find that it Cooks faster than recommended cooking times so take that into account. I've had to adjust cook times accordingly.
