Easy to use and very quiet

After moving into a newly constructed home our first profile went out after 14 months. We replaced it with the same GE profile brand in August 2020 and now in January 2020 the microwave is arcing whenever we try to cook something.

If you're seeing arcing in the cavity, take a look at the article on our website titled "MICROWAVE ARCING IN CAVITY." There is some information inside that may help. If you're still having issues, and you purchased your model in August 2020, then your warranty would last until August 2021. Information on how to take advantage of your warranty, should you need to, can be found in your Use and Care manual on page 21. Would not even try to see if new microwave fit existing trim kit. Returned item without even seeing it out of the box. Not happy that each model needs an additional trim kit to install-should be part of the price.

I'm past the return date so I can't return it. Will be going elsewhere for my next one.

This one is larger and darker interior. The finish broke down on the old one and corrosion started on the inside of the oven, hopefully they've got better protection on it now.

All the functions work well; was pleased that it had the "add 30 seconds" button. Initially, I was dissapointed that I had to buy a new trim kit to go with this since I had a previous GE microwave with a trim kit (each new model requires a unique trim kit); however, I like the way this one fits better than the last and I was expecting this when I went to get a new microwave.

Didn't last 6 months before needing repair

It lasted less than 6 months before it stopped working. GE didn't replace it but sent a local company to fix it, and it took months of multiple visits before it was working again.
