    Been waiting over 4 weeks for trim kit. Can’t use microwave in my built in cabinet without trim kit and kitchen remodel is stalled. Will return if it doesn’t arrive soon. Big disappointment

    Waited months on microwave, when it was finally delivered and installed half of the touch screen functions did not work. Why are these not checked aty the factory and prior to delivering to the customer?

    Grinding noise

    I purchased this for a kitchen remodel. It was delivered today. Thankfully, the driver reminded me to try it out within 2 weeks so if there is a problem I can return it. When we turned it on the first time, it was making a terrible grinding noise that caused me to shut it off immediately. I have to believe the fan blade was hitting something. Perhaps it was not installed properly during manufacturing, because there was no evidence of damage to the shipping carton. I'm surprised they didn't know about this from QC testing before shipping it.

    Got the kit but the parts in the box did not match the parts that the manual said should be in it. Seemed like there were parts missing. I made several phone calls but no one could resolve my issues so I just took the whole thing back to the store and they opted to give me my money back rather than try to figure the whole thing out. The lead time on a replacement was so long I decided to reorder from someone else at a slightly higher price

    It lasted about 1.5 years. The door no longer opens when you press the button.

    I did a lot of research on a replacement for our 20+ year old GE microwave and ended up getting basically the new improved 'same' model. Larger capacity, quieter and just a efficient as the last model. The unit fit perfectly and performs without any issues. The door button does need to be pressed as the new springs have the original tension I'm sure our old model had prior to years of use. That's a good thing but did need to get used to a 'new' stronger button. This unit is so much quieter and has a better fan for the exhaust - again, great to have a new improved unit. I would get this again if I had to replace it. The color is GRAY, not stainless steel. The stainless steel surround is what makes it match the GE stainless steel products e.g. double oven etc. Great look altogether

    Faulty button

    Replacing a GE Profile we had for 12 years. This one is all glass (not stainless steel) which we did not like. However, the button to open the door did was difficult to operate. You had to push very hard on it or numerous times to get it to open. Returned the next day.

    Arrived defective - the turntable made a grinding noise both started and stopping. It was clearly going to fail. The installer identified the problem and reported it. Best Buy and/or GE were unable to find a replacement and I ended up returning it. I'm disappointed because this was one of the very few replacements that would work for my not really a built-in and needs a trim kit space. There was a problem with the trim kit too. Good installer, lousy GE quality control.

    Does not heat evenly, creates a direct hot spot while the rest of the food is cold and/or frozen. I would not recommend this product.

    Bought this product in Sept 2019 and its been not even a year and this product has already stopped working. There was no electrical outage and yet this microwave gave upon us. Do not waste your money buying this product since the GE customer support is equally bad.

    This microwave seems to be awesome, I have only had it a week. The latch to open this microwave is indeed tuff. hopefully with time it gets better.

    Not even a year old which this is also my vacation home barely used it and two burners stopped working. Went to back Best Buy to see what they can do but referred me to take it up with GE Puerto Rico which is so confusing.

    Was installed..door doesn’t open. So replacement was ordered. Should after in about two weeks.

    This item was originally purchased and found to be the wrong size and could not be installed. We had to reorder and the the item could not be sent by you. We have just received av e-mail telling us that qwew we must reorder again! I think that it is your turn to do the reordering, and quickely. Please make a happy customer.     I was concerned I wouldn’t like the look of this microwave since it is not stainless. But with the stainless trim kit around it it looks really beautiful! So far we are loving it!

    Bought this microwave for our new kitchen remodel. Right now it sits on the countertop. Capacity is huge and it looks good. we have the trim kit but have not installed it yet.
