we're just not real happy with this microwave. We got GE because it was for over a GE oven and we wanted it to match. It just doesn't have the features our old one had at our previous home. This one the door seems hard to open at times.

This microwave was purchased to replace a GE Profile microwave which provided years of great service. I researched microwaves and it took almost 2 months to get this delivery from Best Buy. IT WAS A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!!!!!!!!!!!!! The quality of the new product was below expectations for a GE Profile appliance. The push-button to open the door is rickety and gets stuck easily. I have purchased GE appliances exclusively for the past 25 years but this microwave plus trim kit are the most raggedy products GE that I have encountered. What happened to this company? Deep, deep regrets!

So far so good. Very quiet and heats things up quickly.

I bought this GE microwave oven because my 6 year old GE microwave stopped working and this one fits perfectly in the cabinet space. Pros: heats food faster than older model A lot quiter than older model Cons: not enough inside light but i am getting used to it A lot of the time I have to wear my prescription glasses to see words written on the buttons even though my kitchen well lit. I did not have this issue with previous model

Have problem with keeping fingers print. Hard for me to understand different heat or cooking sections.

I had to order this microwave instead of the GE Profile microwave because the trim kit wasn’t available for the GE. Initially, I wasn’t happy about it. But now that we’ve been using it for a month, I really like it. It looks great and I love that is a dark color on the inside.

The microwave was easy to install and is quieter than the previous version. I also like the additional one touch operating features of this microwave and the ability to mute.

We had a microwave oven that had been custom-built into a tight space. The GE Profile fit exactly into the same space and we were also able to use the old "trim." Simple to use, works fine. If this fits the space you have, it is highly recommended.

So far so good my last Fe microwave ignited and a fire started inside. Hoping this one lasts longer than 6 yrs. Btw be careful when ordering the trim kit the salesman told me it would fit but it didn’t. He had to cut the wall.

I purchased the built in model and the kit was easy to install and looks great. The delivery was seamless although the installation kit came several weeks after the microwave, I was kept informed all the way and it shipped on the promise date. The microwave is more powerful than my previous unit, which was also a GE unit. I'm very satisfied so far.

Similar to the 8 year old one it replaced. Seems good so far. Actually reallly like the black as opposed to stainless.

It looks good installed. It is mostly plastic and feel cheap compared to 20 year old Sharp microwave. The door closes with a liud thunk! No matter how gently you try to close it. The keypad is not intuitive and one needs to constantly refer back to tge instruction nanual. Cooking seems to work fine. I would mot buy this product again

The two technicians did an excellent job by using the existing trim kit, saving us a lot of money. Give them a raise!

A big and nice microwave. It heats up food fast. I love it.

The unit quit operating after about a week. It was repaired within the next week. Our confidence is weakened in the unit, so we will see how well lasts.

Nice upgrade. Easy to use and adds a touch of class to my kitchen. I did have to purchase a trim kit specific to the brand. That was a bummer. That was an additional cost. I almost had to call a carpenter into install the kit because it barley fit into the space. The installers were able to make the necessary adjustments.

Would give 5 starts but arrived dented. Appears more black than gray.

The microwave has worked great for nearly 2 years, even though I bought it in Aug and it wasn't delivered until Oct. Today the door actuator, which lifts the latch assembly, completely broke... It's out of warranty now and since the actuator broke during heating some food, the light is currently stuck on with a potato rotating on the turntable. I now have to devise a way to lift the latches on the inside of the door to get the door open... Since this also has a trim plate I cannot do anything else, not even unplug it, until I get the door open. I have to remove the trim plate to get access to the unit and the only way to remove the trim plate is with the door open as the screws are only accessible with the door open. We were limited on a replacement due to space, and GE Profile to match other appliances, but this was the only GE Profile available to fit the requirements. I saw some reviews about the door button sticking, but this is ridiculous. Extremely poor design from the trim plate to the inferior plastic door actuator.
