We bought this mainly because it fit the cabinet space we wanted to build it into. It works fine and looks good, but for the price the button and door feels cheap. Also it’s really annoying that cooking at a specific time is a two step process. Have to select the “cook time” button first. If you start to renter the time it will automatically start . My teenager hates this. I feel like the price is only justified by being a built in unit. It’s just okay.

Replaced a GE built-in we had for 12 years. Shouldn’t have been worried that this model was 1100W vs the old one which was 1200W - this new one cooks even faster! It was also nice that all of the controls and features were in the same, familiar places. Installation was straightforward, (must use the new trim kit that is a little pricey), but is also much better quality than the last one. Overall, very glad we made the purchase, Looks great, works great & my wife loves it!!

good installation; works well. Nice to get microwave back

I purchased this new microwave on August 2021, and after installed, found immediately the door is not able to smooth open, and contacted with GE immediately on 8/12/2021, and GE sent their own authorized repair company on 8/16/2021, with 2 months wait on the parts of the control panel, yesterday 10/14/2021, the technician finally came back and replaced the control panel, and after that, the door is totally not able to open at all. I spent tremendous time of communicate the Premier appliance company ( GE assigned), normally I call 8-10 times a day, 5 days a week, they will return back to me with one message. Spent 1-2 hours on phone with GE customer service every time. Until now, this brand new GE microwave is still not useable and I can't either get it repaired or replaced .SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SHAME ON GE

2 years in and this microwave oven is a bit loud and the push lever to open the door is not working properly. I am a single person so am not as hard on this appliance as a family of four would be. That said I can’t imagine this unit lasting very long for a regular family. It still cooks food properly but am worried the door is going to fully lock up soon and I’ll have to replace this item.

It's a microwave. Works well my complaint is with installation. The sales people at Pacific Sales misinformed us on the trim specs of this microwave and it made it difficult to install. We had to take back the trim kit purchased with this microwave and hire a completely different installer to customize microwave cabinet. Due to lack of proper information fromPS we spent more money.

I replaced the oven, so I really had to replace the microwave. The one the builder put in was a small 1.1 microwave. I didn't realize how small it was until my new one was installed. Color me HAPPY! Nice roomy interior, and the installation of the trim kit was top notch! Easy to use.

An excellent microwave oven. Sleek looking and very easy to use. My only problem is the key pad is not so easy to see. But otherwise terrific

This microwave was the newer version of the one we were replacing. The face is set up a little different from my old one and taking a little time to find the right setting buttons, but that will come with time. Nice size for casserole dishes and full size plates. Quick settings for reheating or cooking ready to eat items. We were without a microwave for about a month when ours died and until we found this one to fit a custom cabinet opening. Never appreciated a microwave more!

The microwave itself is fine, but it seems a bit more clunky than its predecessor. Why does it seem that GE products get worse with each new generation? Also, this microwave does not fit into the previous trim kits (don't believe what GE says or what they recommend). We were forced to shell out an addition load of cash to have the right look (and I will review the poor quality trim kit in another post). I am so disappointed. I wish GE would care about its repeat customers.

We had a similar GE microwave oven that was 6 years old and on its last leg. It took a few weeks to get this one but it is a much better unit. It warms food quicker and its touch controls are more sensitive. You barely touch them and they activate. This was definitely a very good acquisition.

Installation with the matching trim kit was much easier than the GE microwave I purchased about 8 years ago. For the newer you install a little galvanized sheet metal shelf and attach to bottom rails to the microwave. The microwave then just slides in on the shelf and locks into place with a few screws.
