    We bought this open box. It works great and fit in the existing wall trim. It came in perfect condition.

    Really poor quality. It lasted less than 6 months before it stopped working. GE didn't replace it but sent a local company to fix it, and it took months of multiple visits before it was working again.

    This was a replacement for the one exactly like it that was bought 1 year prior. I had total care when I bought it. The one that was originally bought caught fire when I was melting 2 tbl of butter at 6 seconds.. very scary hope this doesn’t happen with this one

    Okay short story long, we went to Best Buy to purchase a replacement in wall microwave that was less than 2 years old. It was mounted in the wall and the trim kit was still shiny and new looking so we didn't want to replace that-- just the microwave. After finding a similar microwave (because the original microwave was no longer made by GE), we found out we would need to purchase a brand new trim kit for installation --or-- do it ourselves... This would cost another $400 or so we weren't ready to spend. We ended up contacting GE and explained the situation over the phone. They told us that the replacement microwave that would work with the existing trim kit was available, and provided the serial number. I went to BestBuy online and ordered the microwave and had it delivered to our home. Once we got the old microwave out and the new microwave in, we realized it did not fit in the trim kit in the wall. Finally we went back to Best Buy, and paid for a brand new trim kit along with installation. This is probably why Best Buy will not install a new microwave with an old trim kit. After all was said and done, it looks great.

    I ordered thee items and an accessory for an item. Only one item can be installed on time. One item is sitting at my home and cannot be installed due to missing accessory, ordered together with the purchase. One item never arrived. It has been months, since I placed order. Also, for second appointment for installation in November. Best Buy made a appointment/installation time without consultation with me. The sales person who collected the order is non-responsive. Thank you for your service.

    I bought this microwave with the trim kit. The trim kit quality is poor. Also the finishing on the microwave door on the top side is very unprofessional which by design appears to be broken.

    Avoid this appliance like the plague. The push button door opener is designed to fail. If you must have this appliance, buy the protection plan.
