Not eligible for GE Profile Rebate!

Alas, purchases from Best Buy are not eligible for the rebate. GE does not advertise this on the main rebate page or the "click here to find where to buy, which takes you to Best Buy. You have to read the fine print on the actual rebate form from GE. Best Buy, you should make the buyer and the sales associates aware of this! A bit ticked that I bought 5 appliances from Best Buy only to be told by GE rebate team "It states in the rebate form, Best Buy purchases are not eligible for rebate". Now who reads the actual rebate form before purchase. On a side note, I do like the refrigerator.

We like the digital controls on the front of the refrigerator and seems easy to operate. The slate color is beautiful and does not show fingerprints.

Removing packing tape, protective film, and labels from the refrigerator door can sometimes; leave behind a residue from the adhesive. De-Solv-it® Cleaner can be used to remove this residue on Stainless, CleanSteel, and Slate refrigerator doors. De-Solv-it® Cleaner can be purchased locally at various locations (ACE, Home Depot, Lowe's, Publix, CVS, etcetera). Use the Citrus Solution version of the cleaner. Use for the doors ONLY. Do not use on the liner or other plastic material. Clean the door with soap and water after use. This can be used on Top Freezer, Side-by-Side, Bottom Freezer, and French-Door refrigerators and has only been tested on Stainless, CleanSteel, and Slate finishes.

Ice maker works well, we also bought the 2nd ice maker in freezer and that is really great. We use a lot of ice as a family of 4.

The decision I made was based on review of users and consumer report reviews. I decided to go with the GE profile from Best Buy due to price and points as well as no charge for delivery. I am extremely happy with the product and service from Best Buy from the purchase through installation. The GE Profile refrigerator is awesome.

I wasted money on food that was thawed out before I realized that the freezer didn't work. It is taking Best Buy two weeks to replace it and I am not happy.

This model is definitely loud. I have other GE refrigerators, this one measures almost 10 db louder. I can hear it running from my bedroom upstairs. Very disappointed.

But we chose to go with it, and I have to say, so far so good. It is quiet, even ice making, very good looking, & quite happy with the water & ice dispenser . The interior is an adjustment for us with the ice maker on the door it eliminates some deep door shelving we are accustom to but we have adjusted, and ultimately there is plenty of room for the two us.

Flushed the filter several gallons of water. Didn’t help. My previous Samsung refrigerator filter didn’t have this issue
