However, my Best Buy representative has already initiated a return of the refrigerator and replacement. I am hoping it's just a odd unit and this is not the norm for the refrigerator. Thank you Best Buy for stepping up to take care of this. (Nathan & AJ).

Junk Fridge

First one had a large dent in the door. Nothing works on the replacement. Interior lights, water and ice in door. It never shuts off so the temperature is well below normal. Freezer is running -30 f and the fridge is temp is running in the freezing range of 24 degrees. Best Buy only replaces appliances up to 15 days which stinks. GE cares number is a joke. Many calls for nothing. After one service call the repair guy said he is going to order a board but doesn't know if that will fix it. The board is backordered who knows when. Save your $3,000 bucks and buy a different brand!

Posted .Hi - We are terribly sorry to hear about the difficulties you have had with your GE refrigerators. This is certainly not the type of review we expect to hear on our products. We can certainly appreciate your frustration and apologize for your inconvenience. While this would have no bearing on the temperature issues you have described, we do have a suggestion on something you can easily try that may remedy the issue with the control panel and interior lighting. Press and hold the Lock and Light pads at the same time for a full three seconds and see if the control panel and interior lights start working. Someone may have inadvertently set the unit in the Sabbath mode as discussed on Page 11 of your Owner's Manual. Our hope is that will resolve at least part of the issue. If you continue having difficulty and are unable to obtain any updates as to when the part will be available, please reach out to us on social media so we can check into your situation further. It has the autofill on the outside water dispenser. I have only used this a few times but this seems like something I will be using a lot more of. I do notice a buzzing noise once in a while which I am getting used to.

If I fill one water bottle with ice, it empties the entire hopper. We now either have a 10lb bag of ice in the freezer in the garage or we're considering buying the second ice maker for the drawer.

For the most part, this is a great fridge. Despite what some say, it is pretty quiet! I love the auto-fill feature! One thing I would like to comment about has nothing to do with the features itself, but counter depth is not ideal for a big family (at least for my family of 5). Other than that, I really have no complaints!

We have had 4 to 5 of these refrigerators delivered, honestly I've lost count, the packaging is very poor and they all seem to be getting dented some beyond repair and some can have replacement parts ordered which also come in dented. Not sure if its just very thin cheap stainless, packaging or handling. SOMEONE REALLY NEEDS TO FIGURE THIS OUT.

It measures water oz. too as you're filling up your glass; the freezer on bottom has different sections as opposed to throwing everything in one cubed area.
