We hate to hear you’re not fully satisfied with your refrigerator, and have concerns with the way the ice is dispensed and the noise the compressor makes. We always want to provide a great product, and regret any inconvenience you’ve had. Notice of your experience will be sent to our team for review. For the issue with the ice maker, if the ice is flying out of the mold and landing outside the bucket, you may want to make sure there’s no water line restriction. If the ice is flying out of the dispenser, you might want to check that the freezer temperature isn’t too cold. (If the temperature gets too cold, the ice may be too brittle and prone to flying apart too quickly when it’s crushed.) If it might be helpful, we have additional details on what to check for this issue in an article on our GE Appliances website titled ‘Flying Ice Cubes from Icemaker or Dispenser’; if you’d like to view this, you can do so on our website when you look up the title and click the Support tab. Regarding noise, we do expect the refrigerator to make some sounds as it operates, and we have a description of what sounds you may hear on page 45 of the manual. You can view that on our website when you look up the model number and go to the product page, if you wish. We apologize that your refrigerator isn't working as expected. If you'd like to try to troubleshoot, we have tips available in an article on our GE Appliances website titled "Refrigerator - Not Cooling Enough"; you can view that when you look up the title and click the 'Support' tab. Among other tips, we recommend checking the gasket to ensure there's no issue with it. If you aren't able to solve this with troubleshooting, we're confident the technician will be able to assist with your refrigerator.
