Failed compressor and noise after repair

After the compressor failed at 14 months, it was replaced under warranty but it now has a very annoying gurgling noise when it turns on. Four repair technicians have not been able to fix it, and now GE has given up and GE Consumer Relations tells us it's our problem. They only will replace the refrigerator if it doesn't cool, even though the repairmen said this is a very common problem after replacing a compressor. Think long and hard about buying a GE refrigerator. There is a class action lawsuit underway concerning failed compressors and getting a compressor fixed may leave you with an intolerable noise.

Getting used to counter depth. Holds a large amount of food. Easy to organize, very well lit. Bought it during a bundle sale, a good price.

Best Buy standard return policy only 15 days! Spent $3500 for a fancy box. Lost most all our food. Very Disappointing!

There is an option for a second ice maker on the bottom that we purchased as well and we never run out of ice now when we have friends over.

After delays and the 1st one that was delivered not working...Was not cooling in the fridge part. I am more then happy for this unit. Best buy was great. Looks great, roomy, efficient and in door water is simple. I wish the water filters were less expensive and triggered by the gallons filtered vs. time installed.

We have experienced no problems. We have only had this refrigerator for a short time but I did a lot of research before purchasing and this is exactly what I wanted.

It also seems that the inside smaller door inside the freezer comes off the track easily. A better design for the refrigerator section would be for the meat drawer to be divided in half like the produce doors are. With the design the way it is right now you have to open both refrigerator doors to get into the meat door
