Customers are saying

Customers regard the 22.1 Cu. Ft. French Door Counter-Depth Refrigerator favorably for its phenomenal storage capacity, overall performance, and appealing design. The auto-sensing water dispenser and perfect size are also well-received features. However, some customers have noted concerns about the refrigerator's noise level, the freezer door requiring a hard pull, and temperature regulation.

    Major problems with Ice Maker

Bought this refrigerator to replace Kenmore Elite refrigerator that needed to be replaced after 5.5 years (that's another story). We noticed right away that ice was forming on the seal around the ice maker causing us to not be able to close left door and ice to not form. We cleared the ice away only to find more ice forming. Called the Geek squad and they needed to order another refrigerator. The refrigerator came and alas, more ice was forming. Hope to get this one replaced by another brand.

Fridge freezes food. Four repairs for growling noise - and still growling. Never buy GE.

    Broken Twice in 2 years

I bought this to match my new build appliances that came with the house. In the past 5 years it has stopped cooling twice costing me hundreds to fix not to mention the food lost. The mother board ha been replaced twice. Don’t waste your money on a GE appliance. My dishwasher has also been fixed and my microwave main panel quit working in just over a year. My double ovens are the only appliance that has not caused issues within 2 years of buying this house.

Our GE Profile fridge has been one problem after another. We do not write reviews, but it is our duty to say this appliance is a problem. DO NOT BUY IT.
