We did alot of research and settled on this dishwasher because it is the most quiet dishwasher GE offers, and amung the quietest of all brands. It cleans really well. The short cycle takes care of almost everything without any pre-rinsing- we just make sure to use the 10-minute rinse cycle if we put things in and aren't going to run the washer soon. The angled racks give plenty of room for oversized dishes and glasses. We actually started with the next model down from GE, but after it was installed, we discovered our large dinner plates did not fit very well. Best Buy was great and worked out an exchange for this model at minimal additional cost to us- we paid the difference between the two models- they waived the delivery fee too, and they waited to get the other unit until after we had installed this one. We are very pleased with both this model and Best Buy.
