We’ve owned this refrigerator for over just a month. Really like the clean modern lines and smudge resistant finish. Well lit interior and large storage capacity. Temperature needed a little adjustment ( cooler) after we had it a few days- it’s good now. Really like the deli drawer and its temperature controlled options. Large bottom freezer drawer. Ice dispenser is a bit limited- not a lot of ice if you’re hosting a big event, but makes enough ice for daily use. Like the musical chime played after water dispenser is finished filling your glass/ cup. Overall, we are very happy with this purchase. It replaced our 13 year old GE Profile French Door Refrigerator.

The refrigerator is great but not perfect. The Profile line is a cosmetic bump up from the entry models, which is more or less worth the increase in price. My wife wanted the nicer look in our kitchen so we went with this model. The added feature of Hands-Free AutoFill is great, when it actually works! Seems to only work 2/3 of the time. It’s not a feature that should be a deal breaker for purchasing this model but nonetheless it’s pretty awesome to have. The feature that eventually made us buy this model was the optional 2nd ice maker in the freezer. Our family loves ice and the option to have more ice is what did it for us. The top ice maker is slow to make ice, as is this second one, but given a few days they fill up. We also enjoy the bright lighting inside the refrigerator it gets bright enough to see everything inside. Overall, we are happy with our purchase and would recommend anyone interested in buy this model to go for it.

Matches nicely with the other Profile appliances in my house. Auto-fill is not always reliable, as it sometimes overfills the cup. Auto-fill also takes time to think before filling, which I see as a negative. It is nice that the 30-second door left open alarm can be shut off on this model. I was surprised to see that the sides are NOT stainless, but rather black, since I was unable to see them in the store. I'm not thrilled with how quickly it gets messy from fingerprints.

Love the space in this fridge. It’s very quiet ans fridge icemsker is great but small.

This is the first GE refrigerator we've ever had as well as purchased from Best Buy. Love them both! Great deal and great service!

This was installed about a month ago and I am liking it so far. There is plenty of interior shelf space, however the factory positions for the shelves do not allow much to be placed on them (no gallon of milk, no can of whipped cream, etc.). You will need to move them around to best fit what you keep on them. Having French doors, you sacrifice door shelf space. The ice maker on the left side makes the left-side shelves totally useless (unless you keep ketchup packets in the fridge). I put 4 bottles of salad dressing on one of the shelves - 1 right side up, the other 3 upside down because otherwise they would not fit. The gallon-sized shelves on the right door are good, but in order to make them useful, the other shelves on the right door have to positioned so that nothing will fit in them. The shelf on the very bottom of the right door is also useless, as there is no space to slide anything into it. It does have a butter compartment (the only model I found with one) and the drop-down shelf is good for eggs. The water dispenser works fine (at least so far) and I like the fact that the filter is inside the fridge and not way down at the bottom. It is easy to get to when a change is needed. I do not really use a lot of ice, but the ice maker filled up after a couple of days, so I know there is supply should I want some. The freezer is roomy, with 4 large bins. It will be difficult to keep things organized in there due to this, but at least there is plenty of space. This fridge runs constantly! Like ALL THE TIME! From what I read, this is part of the new "energy-efficiency" of new fridges. However, it will also cause the unit to die that much sooner. I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get the suggested 8-10 years out of this without issue (for comparison - my old fridge was 23 years old and still running great. Never had a problem with it). GE and others CAN build a fridge to last (they had done it for years). They just choose not to. Anyway, the negatives aside, I am liking the fridge so far. Check back in a few years to see if I have the same opinion. Hopefully I have picked the winner from a very large collection of losers.

The product is I do believe a good product but the best buy service of going back a nd forward with the process of the damaged fridge is tiresome. Then on top of it not having replacements and having to go through checking with multiple locations for replacements is becoming a major task so with that I have to give a 1 star.

Love this refrigerator! It is so roomy, holds so much and is easy to see what is in there. Beautiful lighting, smooth and sleek. I’ve always had side by side models but this French door model is so efficient. Very very happy. Only thing I don’t like is that the doors do not close automatically. You have to physically close every time. Despite that I highly recommend!

This fridge looks good and so far works well except the icemaker splatters crushed ice on the floor. Also, the water fill sensor is inconsistent in sensing when to stop and there is minor leakage into the catch tray most times, which means you have to keep emptying it. A minor alignment problem with the deli drawer at times. Good space amount and adjustable shelves. A little noisier than the one we had before. Ice bin easier to clean than last one.

Moving to a new house, we decided to replace the 'included' appliance with new ones and with research we selected this unit for the refrigerator. Certainly the dual cooling system, spacious interior, pull-down shelf, and auto-fill water sensor were all great features. We were replacing a similar LG refrigerator at the old house that died within 5 years (to the tune of $750 labor) so we were very picky about our selection, and the GE seemed to have the right balance of features and proven reliability.

This is a really nice fridge. Love the color and especially the auto-fill! I'm still getting used to having to open both doors... not sure I'm a big fan of this feature. There is plenty of room for most things, I'm still working with configurations trying to get high items to fit right. We did find out you have to be very careful about closing the freezer. If it doesn't close right, everything defrosts.

Amazing buy! By far the best fridge we’ve owned. It’s spacious, the additional drawer is an added plus and the back wall lighting up makes everything visible and easier to find. 100% satisfied & recommend!

First off, we've only had this GE Profile PFE28KSKSS refrigerator for a couple of weeks, so this review is about purchase experience, delivery, and initial use of the product. Only time will tell how well the product holds up - 3 years, 5 years, 10 years, and so on. We had a very pleasant buying experience in our local BestBuy store (Eldorado Pkwy, Frisco, TX). Our sales person was "Lauren" and she knew her products and we quickly zeroed in on the refrigerator that was "right" for us (we're a 2-person family, no kids). There was a 2-week waiting period for delivery of the refrigerator we ultimately selected, but that was fine with us, as we were in no hurry. BestBuy kept us apprised at all times of the status of our order and delivery, via email and text message. They initially give you a 6-hour "window" for delivery, which is narrowed down to a 2-hour window the day before. The delivery experience was a very positive one. BestBuy sent two persons out who were on-time, very courteous, respectful of our home, and careful in their removal of the old refrigerator and the installation of the new one. They were also very knowledgeable of the best way to remove the old refrigerator and bring in the new one. In no time at all, they had the new refrigerator in place and up and running. I definitely recommend the "haul-away" service for the old appliance; at $20, it's a bargain, and eliminates all the hassle of separately arranging for pickup and disposal of the old appliance (assuming you're getting rid of it). When the refrigerator is first started, it takes a minimum of 24 hours to cool down completely and reach the proper operating temperatures for the refrigerated and frozen foods sections. So in the interim, you need a plan for storing food and frozen items until they can be placed in the new refrigerator. Some have said that this refrigerator is "noisy". Personally, we have not found that to be the case at all. Of course, "noise" is in the ear of the beholder. If you're expecting whisper-quiet operation with virtually no detectable sound, then you'll be disappointed. The refrigerator makes a subdued "whirring" sound when operating, but to us, this is "normal" and not at all objectionable. The ice maker seems to make plenty of ice for our needs, and we have not run short at all. Of course, if you're hosting parties or other gatherings, you may wish to consider the optional second ice maker that resides in the freezer compartment. This refrigerator also does a good job of producing crushed ice (much better than our old refrigerator, a Samsung). The Hands-Free Autofill water dispenser works very well and fills a glass or other container with hands-free convenience. Granted, this is a minor thing, but the fact that it *works* (and works well) is significant. All in all, I'd say we are very happy at this point with the buying experience, the delivery and setup, and the use of the product. Like I said at the outset, time will ultimately tell, but at this point, I can definitely recommend BestBuy and this refrigerator.

This GE profile refrigerator is beautifully crafted. There is a ton of space and it is definitely a preferred choice over the counter-depth. The counter-depth versions provide a sleeker look but no where near the amount of storage space a family of four needs. The specifications of this refrigerator indicate it is 35.75" but in reality the widest parts are nearly 36". This is important to note if you have a tight space to fit it in. The quality is definitely apparent for the money spent. My own issue with the refrigerator is the notion it is fingerprint resistant. The fingerprints are visible but luckily are easily cleaned.

I like the refrigerator. It’’s spacious and easy enough to keep clean. The ice maker is quieter than the one in my previous refrigerator. Fairly new to me but so far all is good.

Very happy I spent the extra money on this GE Profile. I use the hands free auto fill all the time.the refrigerator is quiet and has plenty of shelf space as well as freezer space.
