We hate to hear you’re having an issue with the ice flying everywhere when you use the icemaker – that isn’t what we would expect, and we know that must be frustrating. If the cubes are flying out of the icemaker itself and landing outside the bucket, there may be a water line restriction. If the cubes are flying out of the dispenser and missing your glass, you may want to make sure your freezer temperature isn’t too cold; if it is, the ice may spray more because it’s more brittle and flies apart faster when it’s crushed. We have additional troubleshooting tips in an article on our GE Appliances website, titled “Flying Ice Cubes From Icemaker or Dispenser”. If you’d like to view that, you can do so by searching for the title on our website and clicking the Support tab. Great Refrigerator, love the water/ice dispenser

Also the fingerprint resistant seems to work. It is BIG, almost did not fit, had to take baseboard up because of small vents at the back/bottom on both sides.

Installation was not included even though I asked. When it arrived, they would not install event though I talked to customer service. They said it would not fit and it did. The delivery staff was very rude.

Great fridge!
