    Never buying GE again!!!

    We bought SIX GE products for our new home because they have been reliable in the past. Our 1 year old GE Profile washing machine had the drain pump go bad. It was about a month outside of the warranty I don’t know anyone who has the money to buy a new washer every year! I have never had a major appliance break after BARELY a year of use! That is absolute garbage! When we got our new GE profile refrigerator delivered, it was missing the whole inside of the middle drawer. They replace the whole refrigerator instead of sending the part it needed that could have been dropped in without an issue. The second refrigerator they sent has been the WORST appliance I have ever had! One of the bins on the door didn’t fit. They sent that part. The door handles had very sharp edges. They sent those parts. Then, when our warranty was almost up, the ice maker quit working and freezer drawer wouldn’t stay on the track. They honored the warranty for the repairs, but the ice maker quit working again. We had to fight with them to get them to cover repairs again. This cycle repeated over the next year, with the EXACT SAME issue on the ice maker. They replaced different parts 5 times, replacing EVERYTHING that could possibly replaced, but repairs never lasted more than a few months. The repair company FINALLY declared it unrepairable, but GE now tells me it’s out of warranty so they won’t replace it or refund my money. They want to give me a DISCOUNT on a brand new one. I don’t want to waste another dime of my money another GE product! Here we go again with the stress of another fight with them! I will NEVER buy GE again.

    Great item. Bad delivery

    This refrigerator has been very good thus far. From an operational standpoint, the only complaint is the water dispensing nozzle is too far from the activation lever. If you put your glass against the unit, there is a good chance the water will miss the glass. My other problem is the condition in which it was delivered. I was not home at the time and my wife wasn't really sure what to look for. The door handle was not screwed in all the way. There is a crack in the plastic on top of the left side door. The installers should have seen these things and taken note.

    This is a great refrigerator, but the exterior design is very simple and basic. GE can make it appear better to beat the competition. Also the water dispenser leaks a few drops after it stops. Not seen in Samsung fridges. Also GE can can make the freezer section a little deeper. This space is not great compared to other product. I bought this fridge because I work for GEA. The delivery team were a bit rough with the handling. Hope the Geek Squad treats appliances gently.

    This is so sad. Losing faith with GE. We bought this refrigerator exactly 2yrs ago and last year Ice machine went and now the freezer and middle is zapped. GE warranty is a joke. Double think before buying. We spent $3300 and Best Buy or GE do not care. I lost so much food. I am furious.

    This fridge is running good so far. It gets cold very quickly from start up. We're very happy with it so far. It would get all 5 stars if the water dispenser can be used one- handed a little easier.

    The face for the water/ice maker is constantly coming up, may fall off. If you want ice water good luck, the screen locks up when going to ice then water.

If the refrigerator was recently installed or pulled out, there could be a kink in the water supply line. Check to make sure the water supply is not bent or kinked. A restriction in the water supply line could cause the ice cubes to be too small or hollow. This issue can be resolved by service. GE Consumer Service can be reached by calling 1-800-432-2737.     Not very happy with this purchase. The dispenser on the ice maker / water is a mess. The main freezer drawer is very hard to pull out and has fallen off the tracks numerous times. This until will be getting returned.
