GE Profile Review
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great storage capacity… love the drawer, I use it as a drink center so the larger doors don’t get opened as frequently. Freezer has lots of storage capacity

Great Refrigerator
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This refrigerator has plenty of space and I especially like the middle drawer. The wall of light is also very nice and allows everything in the refrigerator to be see easily. And the Best Buy delivery team was top notch in getting the refrigerator delivered, set up and going over the functions with us!

Great Buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love this refrigerator. The back lighting is superb. I love being able to open the right door to get things like butter, milk or my homemade sweet tea without exposing the rest of the contents to refrigeration loss. I also like the fact that the extra-large door storage for the milk allows for a shallower shelf area on the inside. In my old side-by-side, I would lose items in the abyss of the deep shelves. When I moved the contents of my old refrigerator, I couldn't believe how many duplicates I had.

Looks great and works well.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Didn’t want this at first because in the store it looked very claustrophobic when you open the door and see how big the door boxes are. We had to get what would fit and this fit. It is very nice. Have been using 5 months now. This refrigerator is the largest I’ve ever had and fits way more than I expected. The ice maker is in the left door and works very well and stops when full. Like everything about it.

Very good so far
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far love this fridge. We have replaced several of different brands prior to this so we have hopes that this one will last. The finish is nice without fingerprints and smudges. Roomy and easy to organize. Especially like that the whole back of refrigerator compartment is back lit. Also the level sensing water dispenser is awesome. Ice cubes are fairly small as is their receptacle but is acceptable because it allows for more interior room in the fridge.

Great refrigerator with unique features.
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It’s not inexpensive, but so far so good. We like the door in door access, and the water fill sensor is used more than I could ever imagine. The backlighting also makes it easy to see everything. I’m not sure we use the drawer as intended, but it makes for a big meat and cheese compartment.

Best GE Refrigerator to get at Best Buy!
||Posted . Owned for 9 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great refrigerator. This unit was a Best Buy warranty replacement for 4 year old top of the line Kitchen Aide unit that failed after only 4 years. Could not be happier with the design and features of this refrigerator. And despite some other reviews complaining about noise, that has not been and issue at all. This GE refrigerator is still working great after almost 1 year. Buy when on sale. Best Buy installation was great, too.

Great size and well-thought out product
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome fridge. So much room - so glad we upgraded in size. We took our old fridge and put it in the basement as a backup but have yet to even use it yet. The LED backlight is a fantastic feature. It's so open and allows for finding fresh produce easy. The slide out drawer is great, and it still has ample freezer space. The lock feature on the water dispenser is clutch, as it stops my son from pressing the button and having water or ice spill out all over the floor.

Excellent refrigerator.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I recently purchased a LG instaview refrigerator that stopped working about 3 weeks after it was installed. The refrigerator section would not get cold. After 2 month of multiple repair sessions LG finally approved to take it back. I then purchased this GE Profile. It works great and even though it is 2 cubic feet smaller the design actually allows me to store more in the fridge and the same in the freezer. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because the door-in-door design is not as functional as the LG design. When you open the outer door it exposes more of the air in the fridge compartment and the center shelf's height is not adjustable. The doors however do open wider than the LG making access to the fruit and vegetable droos easier and the back wall of lighting gives better viewing than the LG..

GE Profile Fridge is a great purchase
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When my wife and I started looking for a new refrigerator we did a lot of research. We believe we made the right choice. The GE Profile offers a great deal of space and the ability to configure the shelves to meet our needs. The fridge is solid and quiet. The extra middle draw offers a great deal of flexibility when it comes to storing various items. I would certainly recommend this refrigerator to anyone looking for a large capacity fridge.

Highly Recommended
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This refrigerator is a great purchase. I previously owned a side-by-side which limits you on space in the refrigerator and in its freezer, especially during the holidays. I waited several years for my side-by-side to breakdown, but it is a good quality made product and it's still in working condition to this day. So I finally talked my husband into allowing me to purchase a new French Door refrigerator which I originally wanted when we bought our last refrigerator and I'm so happy with this GE brand. I did a lot of research before making my choice. This GE refrigerator has tons of space inside. We love the door-in-door option. The ice maker is very adequate for our needs and I love the "auto on" light when you walk up to the unit, especially during the night. The "auto fill" is quite a nice option as well. The ice cubes are small half moon size which I personally like better than the large half-moon size that always got in the way when drinking my beverage. The freezer has enough space in it for the needs of a family of four. I highly recommend this refrigerator. Oh, and by the way, it is soooooo quite when running and even the ice maker when dropping its ice is VERY quite. My previous refrigerator that is still in great working condition is being sold to a close friend of mine. When you buy quality it is worth the money and the product will last you a long long time. GE has a very good reputation and I hope they continue to improve on that reputation by developing products that the consumer can rely on and enjoy for many years.

Good
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The refrigerator has several key features including the back light wall, temperature control in the freezer and deli draw. Cons include the ice maker ( noisy and makes smaller cubes). Location of the ice maker limits the space for medium size bottles ( catsup, salad dressings).

LOVE the backlighting!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our favorite feature is the backlighting which we originally didn't think we wanted -- it makes a world of difference. The drawers are one solid piece for easy cleaning. The big refrigerator drawer makes it so much easier to find your favorite things. Love the door-in-a-door. Last year, I bought a Samsung fridge that looks just like this one --except you have to manually defrost the ice-maker; it's not backlit; to remove the drawers, we had to watch a you-tube video, and the drawers are multiple pieces that snap together, so there are cracks which hold condensation, add a tiny piece of lettuce and now you have mold. LOVE my GE Profile!

New Frig
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love my new GE frig. Did not think I would like the drawer but it is wonderful for organizing smaller containers. I love the little door where I can get my milk out without opening the larger area.

Worked for 1 day- now waiting 2 weeks for service
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My rating is pending a service call by GE. If the issue is resolved, I will change the rating. Pros: Shiny. Nice and heavy (didn't fall over in the truck). Magnets work on it (unlike brushed aluminum). Good lighting, lots of space to display LEGO sets I guess (definitely don't put anything perishable in it). Cons: Does not cool things (which for $3000 you think it would). The following issues will remain true even if my lemon of a refrigerator is fixed: The installation instructions are vaguer than IKEA instructions (which do not have any words). They are poorly written and encompass several models as well as previous versions, so they include unnecessary steps. The door in door is a gimmick that is questionably useful. There is no barrier between the shelves and the body of the refrigerator, so when you open the door in door you still have access to the interior of the fridge. Maybe it helps keep cold air in a little because the opening is slightly smaller, but I doubt that it is significant. The wifi and app are utterly useless. As soon as I began having the issues (outlined below) I installed the app and connected to wifi to see if there were diagnostics available. Nope. The app requires an account and then 15 minutes later I had access to the exact same features as the control panel on the door of the fridge. No "current temperature" reading, no alarm that the fridge is well above the set temperature, no indication that there may be a problem (which there absolutely was). The following is my experience with the refrigerator, which will be updated as necessary. I installed the refrigerator on the evening of 6/3/2020 and let it cool overnight. On 6/4/2020 (evening nearly 24 hours later) the ice machine had produced 2 bins full of ice and it seemed that everything was in order, so we transferred everything from the old refrigerator. When I went to dump the second bin of ice, I noticed that the ice was thawing a little bit, but figured that was due to opening and closing the door repeatedly during the transfer process. Just in case, I put a tray of water in the freezer to check overnight. On 6/5/2020 the tray in the freezer was still water, and everything in the refrigerator was thawing. I called GE and they have scheduled a service call for 2 weeks from now, so I currently have a $3000 paperweight in my kitchen.
