This cooktop looks sleek and has five burners. Everything is digital so there are no knobs to clean. Each burner works independently, and there are two that can be linked together. Burners are different sizes to accommodate different sized pots and pans.

Love, love. LOVE this cooktop! Not only does it have 5 burners, two of them are multi sized! Cooking is so much easier with a bonus of NO KNOBS for easy cleaning!

My wife and I like these flat glass cook tops very much. We previously had a similar GE Monogram cooktop that worked well for 15 or so years. This new Profile cooktop is well laid out and has features the Monogram did not have. It worked well after installation. However, at the 2 week mark, the largest burner in the middle stopped working. It would not heat even on high and the 'hot' light that indicates that the burner is still hot to the touch after use stays on all the time even though it is cold. No problems with the other burners. We're hoping this one is a lemon because we are getting a replacement.

Purchased to replace an older GE stovetop an to date has not disappointed. Excellent cooktop

The controls being in the middle and up front is horrible. you cannot move pots or pans on the stove top or they turn on or off. You cannot place baking sheets from your stove on the cooktop for the same reason. The big burner in the back is not smart either. The splash guards behind the cooktop get filthy after every use from the smallest of splatterings. Why they moved the controls to the front from the side where they used to be is a mystery to me. The controls themselves are very hard to work as well. You cannot change the temperatures easily or quickly. They are too difficult to use. You can burn your hand as well since pots and pans when cooking naturally slide forward over them as well.

The glass top cracked after 12 months. Previous GE cooktop lasted for 8 years before the burner thermostat gave up. But this one lasted only 12 months, just outside the warranty window. GE customer care asking for $350 for the new glass top (labor and repair cost not included, might be additional $200). They need either a better quality control or customer support.

We purchased the GE Profile Electric Cooktop and it is even. better than expected. Controls are so easy and responsive. We definitely made the right choice for our kitchen!

Fits in nicely with my new GE built in range. Same sleek design. Love the locking feature on the cook top. Others have complained about the top being hard to keep clean. If you follow the directions there is no problem. A sample of cleaner is provided with the product.

For years I used a gas cooktop. 15 years ago I switched to a glass/electric and love how easy it is to keep clean. Cooking with a glass top is also very easy with many heat selections. The new GE Profile has a wonderful way to connect 2 burners for cooking with an elongated squared pancake pan.

This is a replacement for my original cooktop. I love it. The only issue is adjusting to new burner placement and how close together a couple of them are.

Very impressed with this stove. Has many features not mentioned in description. Has a large power boil unit. Two burners will combine and make a double unit. Another unit can be either a small or large unit. And Another unit can be used normally or for melting. Previously we had a Jennair which was nice, but this one is a class act and it was a great buy!! Love it!

Love the way that it looks and not hard to keep clean

Great addition t our kitchen, it was just we were looking for to replace our old cooktop. Easy to operate and quick heat up.
