It delivers enought ice on demand and fast. Also the freezer can hold alot more then expected. Ge has made the profile with so many options. I just learnex how to put my glass and it will auto fill it up. The stainless steel keeps finger prints off.

So far I love it. I was a little unhappy on delivery when the two men said we can’t install because you have a copper line that’s not up to code. He said we’ll put it in your garage and you’ll get a call from the office. I received that call and I would need a plumber to put in new connect. I asked when they would return to complete installation. I was told next Monday if they could find time in th schedule. I was able to get a plumber the same day He did the simple replacement part and asked if I wanted him to complete installation. Of course I said yes. All my frozen food was in coolers and at neighbors house. Of course there was a charge and that was included in my purchase price. I thought installers carried simple supplies and knew how to complete the job. They should know how to do more that plug an appliance into the wall.

Junk Fridge

First one had a large dent in the door. Nothing works on the replacement. Interior lights, water and ice in door. It never shuts off so the temperature is well below normal. Freezer is running -30 f and the fridge is temp is running in the freezing range of 24 degrees. Best Buy only replaces appliances up to 15 days which stinks. GE cares number is a joke. Many calls for nothing. After one service call the repair guy said he is going to order a board but doesn't know if that will fix it. The board is backordered who knows when. Save your $3,000 bucks and buy a different brand!

Posted .Hi - We are terribly sorry to hear about the difficulties you have had with your GE refrigerators. This is certainly not the type of review we expect to hear on our products. We can certainly appreciate your frustration and apologize for your inconvenience. While this would have no bearing on the temperature issues you have described, we do have a suggestion on something you can easily try that may remedy the issue with the control panel and interior lighting. Press and hold the Lock and Light pads at the same time for a full three seconds and see if the control panel and interior lights start working. Someone may have inadvertently set the unit in the Sabbath mode as discussed on Page 11 of your Owner's Manual. Our hope is that will resolve at least part of the issue. If you continue having difficulty and are unable to obtain any updates as to when the part will be available, please reach out to us on social media so we can check into your situation further. The one thing that I am unhappy with is the plastic covering on the doors is almost impossible to get completely off. They put the plastic coating on the stainless steel before attaching it to the door so it leaves plastic pieces btw the door and stainless steel covering.

The auto fill option is so convenient, lots of interior space in both the freezer and refrigerator sections. I would definitely recommend this refrigerator to anyone looking for a good counter depth option!!

This counter depth french door looks great in my remodeled kitchen. It's very quiet. The stainless steel exterior and handles look nice. But, it's a GE PROFILE, so I would expect the interior racks and drawers to be a little up scaled. The drawers are hard to slide in and out.

This model has Hands-Free Auto Fill that allows you to save a little time when you are working in the kitchen. Also, this does have the option to add a second (IM5D) icemaker in the future, if desired.

For the smaller version it still has A LOT of space! The refrigerator gets amazingly cold in just seconds and the water filtration system is fantastic!

Double door provides opportunity to see what's in the fridge. Refridgerator freezer working fine since we got it in early July. Stainless finish holding up well, with no fingerprints to deal with.

It is counter depth but rather spacious inside. It appears someone put alot of thought into the interior as well as the exterior design. The workmanship is above superior. And it is quiet after the ice compartment is full to capacity, when it reaches full capacity the arm in place is set up to stop the ice making process until it is emptied. Bottom line is GE is still ahead of the pack. It is just a pretty piece of work.
