The shelves in this refrigerator are very shallow, so it feels like the capacity is very limited, though there is quite a bit a space in the door shelves. I dislike the design because any time I want to open the fridge I have to think about which of 3 doors to open. I often end up opening 2 or all 3 of them. The middle compartment cannot be converted to a freezer compartment. You need a good, strong, pull to open either the middle compartment or the freezer. I worried that as I age, this might become more difficult. To get to the ice, or anything on the top interior shelf of the freezer you first have to open the freezer, and then reach to pull out the shelf. Just too many unnecessary steps required to use this fridge. Also, the left door of the upper refrigerator compartment needs to be shoved closed. A gently push will not close it. All in all, this is a poorly thought-out design that requires extra effort in too many ways: to remember which refrigerator door to open; more force than should be necessary to open the middle compartment or the freezer, or to close the left door, and an extra step to access parts of the freezer. And it seems bigger on the outside than it does on the inside--the reverse of what I would want. I sent this back and replaced it with a side-by-side with a water and ice dispenser in the door, which fits my needs much better--and was $1200 less expensive.
