Really liked all the features - auto fill, the look of the interior, the middle drawer, the door in door. It is exaxtly what we wanted…EXCEPT the door in door doesn’t lock properly. We had one delivered…didnt lock…asked for a new one. At this point, I was not going to start off on a bad door (that’s why we were getting rid of our latest Frigidaire). Best Buy said no problem and scheduled delivery for a new one less than a werk later. Today, the new one comes…WITH THE SAME PROBLEM. Fortunately the delivery guys checked it before removing the other defective one and bringing in the new defective one. Best Buy has been easy to work with so far, but I’m really disappointed in the quality from GE. Now we have to decide if we chance it with a third try or go back to the drawing board to find a different fridge. So frustrating!

Likes are definitely the two drawers and spacious areas for meats, drinks, or snacks in middle drawer. Wife is happy! What else can I say!

The water will not dispense and no ice :-( Now I have to wait until Friday 4/9 for service. The problem is that the fridge thinks the door is open (its not). When you try to press the button for water the LED just flashes "Door Alarm". If the alarm is on, it will start ringing and not stop so I turned it off. The installer could not figure it out. This fridge has a top refrigerator, a middle meat/snack drawer, and a bottom freezer. I think the problem is with the top fridge because I put my phone in there and the light does not go out when the doors are closed. Also, sometimes the light does not go on when I open the fridge. It gets 2 stars because at least it cools. I know the probl

We especially like the flexibility of the middle drawer for soft drinks, cooling wine, or for "mild" freezing of some foods. It is important to let this refrigerator stabilize its temperature over its first 24 hours. The freezer and fridge cooling temperatures will not be accurate until a day after it is first turned on.

||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Third party carrier delivered this refrigerator but refused to remove the box to check for damage. The size of the refrigerator makes it necessary to remove it from the box for it to fit through the door. As a result of the carriers refusal to remove it from the box, it was left in my driveway and I had to uncrate it myself. I discovered a small dent on the side of the sliding drawer. I also had to get the refrigerator into my home myself. Luckily I had contractors working at my home that were willing to assist with this. This was not an easy task. When I purchased the refrigerator it was my understanding that it included delivery into my home, not to be left on my driveway. Honestly if it were not for the short supply of appliances at this time I would have refused the delivery. I have bought many items from Best Buy over the years and have never had an issue. I would think twice about buying large items that necessitate delivery if this is the service that is going to be provided.

Also the fingerprint resistant seems to work. It is BIG, almost did not fit, had to take baseboard up because of small vents at the back/bottom on both sides.

We hate to hear you’re having an issue with the ice flying everywhere when you use the icemaker – that isn’t what we would expect, and we know that must be frustrating. If the cubes are flying out of the icemaker itself and landing outside the bucket, there may be a water line restriction. If the cubes are flying out of the dispenser and missing your glass, you may want to make sure your freezer temperature isn’t too cold; if it is, the ice may spray more because it’s more brittle and flies apart faster when it’s crushed. We have additional troubleshooting tips in an article on our GE Appliances website, titled “Flying Ice Cubes From Icemaker or Dispenser”.
