Gift Card problem

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Purchased as open box, counted all screws in store, all were there, on delivery one screw was missing, 4 phone calls and a week later the service guy did not have the part on his truck, called in and set up another repair call, BUT, accepted a $150 gift card in lieu of repair. Now being told that gift card is only good to apply to the purchase of a new item. I do not need a new item. I need for Best Buy to apply the gift card to the balance on my credit card.

Don’t buy

Posted .Hello - Thanks for bringing this to our attention. To make sure the drawers and doors are installed properly, we recommend that you review the instructions on pages 24-26 of the Owner's Manual.
If your fridge is leaking, be sure to check all water line connections for leaks. Check the connection
to the household water supply at back of refrigerator, and door water line connect. If this doesn't prove helpful, please take a look at "GE Appliances Refrigerator Limited Warranty" section on pg. 42 of the Owner's Manual for the next steps.

Modern refrigerators have more features and use newer technology. Unhappy customer

The finish on the doors gets scratched easily. Too many hair line scratches noted 3 weeks after delivery. Poor quality from GE… Wish we didn’t buy this!!!

Great fridge

The autofill water is good as well. Only negativ3 for me is the ice comes out a little smaller than id like but other than great appliance

I do not recommend this refrigerator

Ice maker stopped working and service call revealed the compressor is bad and needs to be replaced. We have been without a refrigerator for over a week and still counting due to part delays.
