    Absolute garbage. Stay away. Purchased for the water feature but the water runs slow. Called GE for service and they tell me to buy another 100 dollar water filter as theyre designed to slow down after 3 months and shut completely off after 6. They refused to help. The auto fill sensor errors out about every other time i use it. I oaid a premium for features i dont even get, very disappointed.

    New Control Board after 2.5 Years

    The fridge worked fine for about 2.5 years. I recently had to replace the entire control board for about $200 (DYI price) to fix an issue with the defroster not turning on. My 20 year old fridge in the garage is still working without issue but my brand new GE break just after the warranty expires. 1 year is not a long enough warranty!

    This item came with a faulty seal on the freezer. It is going to take two months total to get the part in or about4 mos to replace the freezer. I am not happy.

    Product got delivered dented with a broken shelf. Best Buy delivery team insisted on leaving it at the house and we would have to schedule a separate pick up which took almost 2 weeks. Very poor service. When we have to pay for delivery and set up…

    Do not buy this fridge. The best buy techs have no clue on how to repair the fridge. A part in the sealed refrigeration system got bad and every 6 months and the same part has been replaced twice. I had to tech out to GE for repairs despite having the Best Buy protection plan.

    Ice Maker Defect

    The motor on this ice maker is highly prone to failure. Mine burned out 2 weeks after the 1 year warranty expired and upon investigation a lot of people discuss this in forums but GE is not issuing any recalls or anything. Even more, the motor that keeps burning out is not available for purchase online anywhere so you have to buy a whole new ice maker. Very frustrating to pay 4K for a fridge and the ice maker to go down year one with no resolution in hand!

    Bought a fridge for $2476 0pen box but the top would not get cold enough so i order a new one same fridge more money now i am at $3500 total then when it finally came in it csme damage they said we can exchange the parts that damage i was like no way thst not consider new furthermore it been 5 days ans they still havent contact me about my new fridge

    Ge 4 door refrigerator i have had nothing but problems with must of been built on a monday. No drain plug even the geek squad couldnt believe it. But i will give it a second chance and exchange and try again bc i love the style and the back lighting. And the 4th drawer perfect for my kids to reach and no huge ice maker taking up space.

    Within two weeks of having the refrigerator, the freeze stopped freezing. The center drawer also is not down to temperature.

    Compressor went out after only 6 months. Best buy doesn't help with fixing anything and its taken GE 3 weeks and counting to fix it. The water autofill feature works only about half the time and gives an error light. Would stay away from GE.

    We are returning our 3rd unit this week. 2 had issues with fridge temperature not close to set temp.. 2 had issues with drawer glides.. unfortunately we are now switching to a different brand. Wish us luck!!

    Do Not Buy ! IF I COULD I WOULD HAVE GIVING IT ZERO STAR ! DO NOT BELIVE ALL THE Good reviews online ! It’s is exactly 2.5 years old and suddenly it stopped working completely. I was told by my service guy that it needs a new compressor and a new heater for about $2000. Worse yet the parts are “unavailable “
