    Have had for about 2 months and very please with this refrigerator so far. I am glad I got rid of the Ice in the door. I like the built in water pitcher that automatically refills.

    Maybe I got a lemon but my Profile refrigerator makes a lot of knocking/popping type noises. I've tried to figure out what might cause it but it seems to be random. Turning off the ice and water didn't make a difference. It's not a subtle sound, it just bangs randomly, sometimes multiple times an hour. I can't recommend this fridge to anyone with an open floor plan that might have to hear it when not in the kitchen.

      We'd like to clarify some information regarding the knocking and popping sounds your unit is producing. These sounds are normal and can come from the compressor starting or restarting, cooling parts expanding or contracting during defrost, or ice being made and dropping into the ice bin.     The auto water pitcher feature isn’t reliable. Sometimes it keeps running and overflows the pitcher and water goes everywhere. I just shut it off. I was told by service rep it’s a well known problem. Well GE needs to remove the auto fill pitcher since it obviously has problems.

    Refrigerator looks great, however, the pull out drawers are HARD to open! Don’t like ice being open to whole freezer, and space seems small, even though fridge is large. Wished I’d looked at other models.
