This is my third GE microwave, and I just love it. I don’t think I could learn how to cook without it

We are remolding our kitchen and bought this to replace a 17 year old GE advantium that is still working! We love everything about this unit. Can’t wait to see what has been updated on the new one. This unit is SS and looks so much better than the white one it’s replacing. Anyone thinking about buying this microwave has to overcome the high price, but believe me nothing else comes close to a advantium for performance and features! This is not an EXAGGERATION. Our whole family got spoiled with the speed cook preprogrammed menu that we couldn’t do without it. From cooking perfect soft pretzels to chicken nuggets for the kids(that they make themselves!) to defrosting a frozen steak perfectly this unit will amaze you. Most other microwaves cost a lot less money then this one, there is a clear reason why. They just can’t offer the features, capabilities, performance and quality of a GE advantium microwave oven!!

The Advantium works well to heat up your food you want crispy unlike a traditional microwave oven. The only think I would recommend is to go for the 220v version if possible as the 120v version does take a long time to cook common foods like frozen pizza and French fries.

I own two Advantium ovens. One in Maryland and the other in Florida. This oven is easy to use. The microwave portion is easy to program and use. Then when you are ready to use it as an oven you take out the glass plate and put in a metal plate and it instantly become an oven. It bakes well which means that I don't have to heat up my kitchen by using the big oven. As well as, gives me two ovens when I need them. It is a great product.

I researched numerous convection ovens. This one has it all. It has numerous automatic cooking options, microwave, convection and speed cook. You can not make a mistake. It is quick, cleans amazingly easy and both plates for microwave and convection are easy to clean. The dual racks make it easy to cook two trays of cookies or anything else. This is the best there is for any cooking options you need.

Had this most expensive microwave delivered. It gets great reviews because it is a excellent microwave with a TON of features. Halogen, Heat etc. There is a reason it gets great reviews. Also it's small footprint would fix exactly where my old one went to the milimeter. Best buy delivered this microwave, and took my old one away, however once unboxed there was hidden damage on the back of it in the form of a orange sized dent. All appliances have gone to this very easily bent sheet metal now, so they are very susceptible to damage. Called best buy 4 times, cant get to the right department, and they just give you the same exact number to call back getting you nowhere. Then I tried to chat and got to someone who did "Feel my pain" The question is, do you keep a microwave with a huge dent in the back that ill never see, or attempt to get a new one, and due to covid I would have had to live with no microwave for two months. Chat guy offered compensation that wouldn't even cover a 3 year warranty even after being pushed and claiming supervisor said no. So due to the fact they took my old microwave I kept the dented one with the low compensation to get me to the warranty. Paid for the warranty, that will probably be void because of the dent and I couldn't get an answer on that at all. So if this microwave breaks, ill probably have to buy another. So as a Elite Plus Member, they don't care. When Best Buy has no issues, it appears great, but when you have an issue, its abysmal.

Everyone in the house loves the new GE Advantium otr microwave. My kids love the quick settings and the speed cook function. I really researched the Advantium and even though it is not the same brand as the rest of our new suite of appliances I bought this for all of its features. I was worried that the look would not blend in with the rest of the stainless steel appliances but it looks great. We have not had time to test all of its features but so far it has lived up to its great reviews. My only complaint is the fan over the stove could be stronger but we don't really use the stove that often so it is not a major problem for us. So far it has been worth the extra money for this great broiler, convection oven, microwave.

Great features, and great install. Many cooking options and very easy to operate. Looks good with other appliances.

Had another GE convection after old Advantium needed upgrade after 9 months went back & paid the extra $500 to get this Advantium. There is no comparison between other convection ovens & the Advantium!!!

Although a bit pricy it is a very good microwave / oven. The defrost cycles real work without over thawing and the food cooking menus are very accurate. Could not give 5 stars due to design in general. Does not have LED lights and the built in fan has the lowest cfm rating of top shelf units.

I have been using this model for a very short time. But prior to this I have been use Adventium 240 in my previous house for 15 years. I loved it ! This 120 model It has one stupid inconvenience - clock display goes off once unit finishes its task. They claim it is energy saving tool. Compared to the energy unit uses its clock display energy use is inconsequential. Dumb “ saving measure” by dumb person.

We bought this as a part of our kitchen remodel (completed two days before the Great Covid-19 Shutdown). And what a pick. The aesthetics are not stellar, but this microwave does a lot. The excellent: Versatility. this microwave is multi-functional. If you actually read the manual (you should!), you realize the amount of cooking/baking/roasting you can do. This is a force multiplier in the kitchen. Makes good toasted bagels. The good: Controls and display make logical sense The 'Meh': You would think that 400 cfm is a lot of suction, but it is not a range hood. So it works - but you need to be strategic how you use it. Meaning, start the fan first, then start cooking. The fan is not loud (on high setting) but you definitely notice it. We had a small crappy countertop microwave, and this was a gigantic step up. If you don't mind the utilitarian look, then this model will more than do the job for you.

New oven has useful upgrades. Had used the previous oven for 10 years. Have found this to be a terrific appliance. Very pleased with my shopping experience at Best Buy. Sales associate went out of her way to make sure I had everything I wanted. The installers were prompt, courteous and extremely concerned that the installation was perfect. And it was. And on a Saturday!

This is my second adantium oven, the fiirst was purchased over 20 years ago and is still going strong in it's new location! The new one is stainless steel and has a few more features! This is one of the most used items in my kitchen!

Makes cooking steaks and burgers so easy and they come out perfect every time!

I wasn't sure about the nob, but it is easy to use and you can store your recipes times so you don't have to guess. It warms pizza up nicely, and the convection oven in it is great.

This is a masterpiece. Good features, nice look, very good product.

This is my 2nd Advantium oven. The first one lasted 17 years! You can microwave, bake, broil and roast with it. You can even microwave and roast at the same time, browning and quick cooking things like a meatloaf in a fraction of the time in a conventional oven.

I was already impressed by the features of Advantium. My last one lasted 10 years. This new one is even better than that. The door latch seems much more sturdy than the last one. More features than before, I hope this lasts for 10+ years. To be on the safe side, I did take the Best Buy 5 year warranty.

Unit operates easily. Love the convention piece with its turntable as it fits in drawer underneath stove. (Need to swap to glass tray for microwave function) The only reason I gave it 4 stars for value is for its high price; but, You get basically 2 units in 1 (microwave & an oven) and am very happy the extra money was spent on it.
