I find it shady and intrusive at the least......best case scenario my A/C can now be remotely shut off by anyone willing to hack it.....

Both of them were missing the wifi sticker and the wifi button did nothing on either . Its a decent ac, its quiet and easy to install. But its not wifi connectable like it is advertised to be. And if i need to call ge and speed 5 hrs on the phone to connect it, then its not wifi connectable.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review on your air conditioner. Our apologies to hear that the WiFi sticker was missing on both models. If WiFi indicator light does not flash, please follow the steps below:
Unplug the unit, wait 60 seconds
Plug the unit back in
Immediately press the WIFI button while all LEDs are illuminated
Follow prompts in SmartHQ app to connect

Something to think about is that it takes up more space in fromt of the window so if you have a couch or something in fromt of window this wont work or youll have to oush out couch. Still highly recommend

We've had two house guests stay so far and they both have said it works great. The pros: Super quiet Cools a room that is "on the cusp" of the sq footage size just fine! Remote control works well Attractive - it's really not intrusive or ugly like "traditional" window air conditioners Customer support was great - on a Sunday! The cons: I couldn't get the app to connect to the air conditioner - there was a software update that needed to happen. However, after a call to customer support, this was addressed and it works now iOS app is fairly limited -the remote control is better. The app is nice to be able to power on before you get home though.

The unit us very quiet. However, the unit struggles to actually cool a room, which makes it ineffective as an air conditioner. It's 70-pound weight is difficult to manage and requires two people to install safely.

I also feel like sometimes the ac doesn't respond to room temperature changes. If I turn it off and then back on it resumes functioning flawlessly. Doesn't happen often but definitely happens enough that it is noticeable. Hopefully a software update fixes this. Definitely worth upgrading the purchase with a Geek Squad plan. Definitely a pro in reducing energy costs.

It comes with everything you need to seal the window around the opening. We’ve had this for a year now and it is still working like when we put it in the window.

One unit keeps having error code P1

One is working great, quiet mode is quiet :)), no problem with anything so far (about a month). The other one keeps having error code P1. I had to drain water from the filter for it to run again only about 30 mins. The pump had problem and couldn't pump the water to the outside part.
