Assembly replacements is costly

Replacement of the assembly is half the cost of the original price of the dishwasher. I wished there was a rating system available for repair costs.

It washes the dishes as a basic minimum. However, it fails to dry the dishes adequately, even with the button pressed for BOOST drying. Without pressing the BOOST drying button, the dishes come out soaking wet, not dry at all. In addition, there is a slotted holder for inserting each piece of silverware. The handles on each piece of my silverware are too large to fit through the slotted holder. Result: my silverware must be hand dried. If you choose to buy this dishwasher, buy a supply of towels along with it. You will need the towels for hand drying after the GE Profile washes your dishes.

Was almost $200 off! The geek squad was very good about delivery, and explaining why my plumbing system meant that it couldn't be installed on delivery day.

The washer is as big as our older dishwasher but takes less dishes than we were used to put in.

Otherwise it works great and is much quieter than our old one. The bottle washing and extra drawer area for knives and utensils is a nice extra.

Posted .Hello - we're sorry to hear that the dishwasher hasn't met your expectations. Newer dishwashers might have a "newness" smell due to the processes used during manufacturing. You can try running the empty dishwasher through several cycles using detergent to try and resolve this concern. -- Spots on your dishes could be caused by hard water or incorrect water temperatures. We recommend making sure that rinse aid is used during the cycle and checking your water hardness levels. Although it cleans wonderfully, mine does not dry dishes well. Installers neglected to install the rails that keep insulation from showing on the sides and top.

The third rack is great for small items and flat silverware. The sanitizer feature works great. Overall, a great dishwasher. The service for install absolutely terrible. The third party NAI is worthless and filing a claim with Sedgwick with Best Buy terrible! I expected better service from Best Buy.

I have to place the dishes in half capacity in order to allow water to reach them. The 3rd rack is also not quite useful. If the second rack is full, the forks in third rack will remain oily after even the Heavy cycle.
