Due to the unique circumstances surrounding Coronavirus, we were not able to have it installed until July 1st. When we picked it up, everything seemed to be in good order based on our visual inspection. All of the parts and accessories were included and there were no cosmetic imperfections. Upon being installed, once turned on to test, it began gushing water. The plumber checked all of the hook ups and found no errors and so began inspecting the dishwasher itself. When he pulled out the bottom rack completely he found the dishwasher drum was cracked! I called Best Buy and was referred to GE to get it fixed under warranty because it was past the initial purchase period. Best Buy would not take responsibility for their product, even though installation was only delayed because of a Global pandemic. After spending 3 hours on the phone with GE, I was told they could have someone look at it in 3 weeks! I strongly feel Best Buy should be held accountable because this dishwasher was definitely not in good or even satisfactory condition. I understand I purchased an open box model, but it was not in the condition described, and certainly not in working condition as advertised. Now, I do not have a functioning dishwasher because my old one was hauled away, and I bought a brand new dishwasher that is defective, and Best Buy won't stand behind this product.

They are ‘tested’ before they are sent out supposedly- well DRY THEM BEFORE BOXING THEM UP!!!!! They both smelled TERRIBLE when we got them opened up. I paid over a grand for a dishwasher that already smells moldy and mildewed. I am waiting for my compensation from the 1 washer debacle and now they have more to answer for. We installed this washer because I have bow had a giant dishwasher box in my small kitchen for 18days and I am tired of it. So I am going to run it a few times to see if I can get the smell out. If not- they can come get it. If someone from Best Buy is reading this- call me. I have waited on hold while calling you for far too many hours now over the last few weeks for this ordeal.

The bottom rack is totally useless unless you’re only placing plates or huge saucepans. The top / third tray is a waste of space as you can only place one long item as long as it’s small or knives that are very thin. Very unhappy with this and now it’s installed it can’t be returned. Totally miserable about it

It has been leaking drom the bottom of the door. While investigating the problem, we realized the lower door gasket/seal was failing. It was falling apart and crumbling. Come to find out the seal cannot be replaced becasue of the design of the machine. The seal is rivetted to the door. Past warranty so will need to replace the whole thing!
